Excuse the rambling. This video is meant to explain the intuition behind the formula used to calculate the harmonic mean.

This video was way better than the other 10 I tried to watch explaining the harmonic mean. Antell explained the intuition behind the harmonic mean rather than just calculating it with a formula. The intuition is what is difficult to grasp and Antell developed it in an accessible way in this video. I hope you are a maths teacher now.

Sir how to solve the harmonic mean of two numbers which are 1 and 1/7 ....??? Like fractions..

I haven't looked at harmonic means in like 3 years but according to the formula, it seems like you just plug in 2/(1+7) and the result is 0.25. Hopefully this helps :)
