I’m painting my own based on this video, do you need to use prime and gloss?
depending on the type of paint you may not need the primer but gloss is important for protecting the paint:)

thanks so much:)) so pretty much I buy broken/old bmxs and parts and do these restorations for fun, then I sell them which funds my next project bike:D

Bro instead of paint stripper can I use sand paper?
yeah you can but will take way longer and takes a lot more effort to sand, better results come from paint stripper too:)

What is the last layer of paint?
Hey, so layers are metal primer, then the metallic gold, then last layer of clear coat/gloss. hope that helps :)

How much profit do you usually make per bike
well it varies this was 300prof but tbh for me its more about the fun, enjoyment and process of doing it:)

@@jonathanmarsh6584 you could put the clear coat of paint sealer over the raw frame to prevent that rust.
