I’m thinking about all the people who need clothes and haven’t changed their clothes or can’t afford clothes. Jackets and pants for cold winters. It’s saddening actually.
The thing is while its true, we don't know how to hustle, we can't depend or idolized what the rich have because alot of it is accursed, my great grandma worked hard and didn't have a lot but she didn't blame other instead she helped everyone she could and herself, in return when she was old alot of people helped her financially and physically.
I honestly don't think it's fair to put this sort of guilt, so to speak or responsibility on someone because they have a personal vice for clothes, etc. They did not steal or borrow money from people to buy their items. If people want to donate clothes or volunteer for the poor or anything of that nature that should be their privilege to do so just as much as people who want to buy and accumulate clothes, shoes, handbags, and whatever else to build their wardrobe... and who's to say that people don't donate? Personally, as an everyday Jane, I have more than the average woman. I have over a thousand pieces myself, and that's just my personal vice as everyone has their own vice/interests. I'm sure people have their perception of me which is similar to yours, and will continue to go off of that, contrary to if I even tell my truth. But the fact of the matter is, my massive wardrobe is an accumulation of clothing throughout my adult life, much like how her archive reflects. She simply didn't throw anything away so it has come to her having a warehouse full of clothing that reflects what she has worn throughout her adulthood during different fashion phases of her life accumulated to the mass amount that it has. I choose to purge my closets... yes, plural, including a spare room that I use as a closet, which is what I call "the mother ship" of my closets. But she chooses to hang on to everything, which is why she now has a warehouse unit full of archived clothes.
This is INSANE. No one person needs an entire warehouse full of clothing. She is an organized hoarder. I guess I realize she never wears anything more than once but donate it, save special pieces for your kids to hand down but this is a sickness.

We don't donate sentimental items. I don't donate any of my books and clothes. I'm kinda a hoarder when it comes to that. Which means she didn't have the chance to wear HALF of her warehouse closet. Minus let's say 10 years because who in the world keeps clothes from when they were younger. She either wore all of these clothings day by day, by having multiple outfit changes.. or she just overly bought them. We know kim loves to overspend her money when shopping. She literally spends $19k on one video. ANYWAYS. If I was kim, I would donate these clothes. I know for a fact she doesn't wear an outfit twice. And who cares about what she wore in what era. Just find pictures of it online if you care about that memory.
On the contrary, she HAS recreated looks using what she had in her archive. Also, considering her line of work from early adulthood with doing closet organizations for her (rich)peers/celebrities and working retail at DASH up to now at 41/42 years old, with all the fashion collaborations, gifts, fashion photo shoots, and personal purchases, and very highly likely changing into different outfits multiple times a day (which wouldn't seem unusual for the likes of Kim), and the fact that she kept everything (not purging) it's not so hard to believe that she has in fact kept and worn every piece. Otherwise, no, I don't care about HER fashion eras and don't actually care for her personal style though I AM honestly just intrigued with the fact that she has massive personal closets in her house AND this fashion archive warehouse. Considering her life in the spotlight and obsession with her appearance, SHE likes to refer to her fashion era for her own reference and inspiration, I guess as the next person at times look over what's in their closet when they want to change things up a bit with their style or in preparation to purge out items.

Thus, although I'm nowhere near her socio-economic bracket, I CAN relate in my own corner of the world because within my own socio-economic bracket of style and fashion I have my own massive wardrobe stored in my spare room closet (and other multiple closets) that has accumulated throughout my adult life to show for it accordingly 😉.

Mmmm... hoarding and archiving/collecting is NOT the same thing. I don't get why people mix the two concepts together particularly because someone has an abundant amount of items. Collecting is an large amount of items that's organized and stored in a designated space or area and doesn't spill over into living areas whereas hoarding is a large accumulation of unorganized items or piles that prevent rooms from being used for their intended purposes. Questionable/bad issues with hoarding includes saving everything from used/disposable items and/or inoperable/broken items too. She is definitely NOT a hoarder.
