As much as I may dislike Carly. He disliked the Quartermaines because after he woke up from the accident, he felt like they were trying to control him and that they kept looking for Jason Quartermaine, and that wasn't who he was anymore. They did try to put him in that box instead of trying to accept that he was essentially a totally different person. I'm not saying it wasn't rough for both sides, but they built that dislike all on their own.
