Written as a celebratory piece, Above and Beyond is a stirring overture that explodes with energy and enthusiasm - a tribute to the quest for the extraordinary and the desire to do more than is required. Built around three distinct themes which are organically developed, the work contains powerful and triumphant melodies, driving percussion, dynamic contrasts and a marvelous “cantabile.” This exhilarating concert opener exemplifies joy and spirit.

because it's not real recording. It's computer-generated sounds that are forced to do these magical tasks.

@@mr.klunee4103 Actually, it's more likely that they Hal Leonard has a Wind Symphony that is contracted for playing the demonstration recordings - this is pretty common amongst band pieces if you're a published author with some clout to your name (like Robert Buckley does). My band teacher, back in high school, actually watched the Washington Winds do a few recorded band pieces.
Now, dreams are still ruined because the bands that do these recordings are professionals, _not_ students, and the pros are instructed to make the piece sound as good as possible, which usually utilizes a level of skill and planning that absolutely no school band has a hope in hell of actually attaining. These guys are professionals for a reason, as it turns out. Give a Level 1 piece to a pro band, and they can make it sound, well, professional.

It’s a matter of balancing the sound of your orchestra. These are professional bands.
