  • Escape the daily grind and step into a world of towering redwoods! Join us on a virtual hike along the Leiffer and Ellsworth Loop Trail in Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park, California. Breathe in the fresh forest air and witness the awe-inspiring majesty of the world's highest trees. This relaxing 4K HDR video features stunning California scenery, calming forest soundscapes of rustling leaves and chirping birds, and a symphony of nature that will melt your stress away. Explore the ancient giants of the redwood forest and find peace in this beautiful natural wonder.
The Leiffer and Ellsworth Loop Trail, nestled within Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park, provides a diverse and moderately challenging 2.2-mile trek through the heart of a redwood wonderland. Towering redwoods, the undisputed stars of the show, dominate the landscape, their ancient presence humbling and awe-inspiring. Lush ferns and vibrant maples carpet the forest floor, adding pops of color to the verdant scenery. Intriguingly, the trail incorporates a section of the historic 19th-century Crescent City Plank Road, allowing hikers to step back in time and imagine the footsteps of pioneers who once traversed this path.
As the loop descends into a cool canyon, the soundscape transforms. Rushing water replaces the hushed reverence beneath the redwoods, and the melodic chirping of birds adds to the tranquil escape. This easy-to-moderate trail offers a taste of everything the Redwood forest has to offer, making it a perfect choice for nature enthusiasts seeking a scenic escape.
Ditch the crowded trails and delve into a redwood reverie with filmmaker Roman Khomlyak. Filmed on June 28th, 2023, using the Panasonic GH6 and the Laowa 6mmF/2 Zero-D lens, this video is your portal to the Leiffer and Ellsworth Loop Trail. Witness towering redwoods unlike any other, their ancient presence a humbling contrast to the vibrant ferns and maples carpeting the forest floor. Roman's artistry captures not just the visual splendor, but the symphony of the forest - the rush of cool canyon water and the melodic calls of unseen birds. This isn't just a hike, it's a sensory immersion, perfect for unwinding after a long day or adding a touch of redwood splendor to your routine.

Wish I was there to get lost among those Redwoods and find a nice camping spot. What a magnificent forest. Thank you for the Walk.

I used to hike this all the time when I lived in Crescent City. I’d go there after work, about 2pm, and usually have the whole place to myself.

This is so well executed. I love the slow steady pace instead of the usual walking pace. Its steady, calming, and deliberate. The added deep forest sounds are a plus. Thanks so much for this. I have a large library of relaxation videos and this one is my favorite by leaps and bounds. Subscribed! ❤️

It is beautiful. But do you notice how birds chirp periodically in a cyclic fashion? What are the odds that the exact same birds will be present along a several kilometres-long stretch? Also who walks this slowly? But all in all, it is beautiful.

@@inezrosario226 yep true, it's really of no consequence. The redwood forest is largely silent, so that wouldn't make for a very memorable relaxation video
