CP, How did you know what I've been thinking about. Before covid I was on my local Snap On dealers truck & he ga 2 of large thermal imager guns & around $ 900.00. I didn't pull the trigger & in a way I'm sorry I didn't case the same thermal imager gun is $$ 2400.00 & on national backorder. So I've been looking around for an alternative manufacturer, / device with a wider range. MAN DID THESE GO NUTS IN PRICE !!! LIKE 3 OR 4 TIMES HIGHER IF YOU CAN FIND ANY. I have the Klein on for hvac and it’s awesome for under 300 dollars and I see this is around the same price

What model I could not find a klien that had the one with the equivalent temperature ratio which is important for egts on cats and exhaust.

Gotcha ya I needed one that hit 1000° f for exhaust I noticed the klien didn't go that high

The 9 frame per second refresh rate most thermal cameras is an ITAR thing, mostly so the Chinese and Iranians can't make heat seeking missiles.
