Bearded dude is a better interviewer than Bryan. He ask really relevant questions and makes the interview flows in a nice balanced way.
Most Ben has opened up about Danny, going to be interesting to hear Danny's side of the story in an interview if there ever is one

I love a Bryan Stars interview as much as the next guy,
But I felt that this first contact with AA needed to be insightful and sort of sincerely serious. And I think this guy handled it perfectly!

I love Asking. They were one of the first heavy bands my friend showed me. But listening to past records, it's hard to believe " this guy who I admired wasn't even enjoying what he was doing."
Now Denis is just fucking killing it. His voice is amazing. And not to offend anyone, I prefer him over Danny. His stage presence and his voice just make me feel a lot more emotion then Danny did.
I just can't wait to hear what comes out of the new record. It'd gonna be fucking amazing.
Completely agree. You could tell that Danny's heart wasn't completely in AA during live performances, there wasn't that energy that there used to be. I'm happy they chose Dennis he brings back so much energy that AA was previously missing and honestly I will admit that hearing this interview and reading the interview Ben did with kerrang I teared up abit I could only imagine what it would be like to look up to someone so much and then suddenly have it crashing down around you :( happy with AA's new direction though!
Jake Smith you guys are completely right. The worst part of the breakup was knowing he wasn't enjoying it and were the lyrics really from the heart ? Or was he just writing stuff you know?.
Asking was also for me one of the first bands that got me into this genre along with UnderØath (UØ was first though lol) and I enjoyed the first album alot, but the other ones not so much because you could tell Danny just didn't care and wasn't in it full heartedly anymore and the music reflected it. And I'm actually really anticipating a new AA album for once.

Jason LovesPWD i won't give in was just a song they wrote to have the crowd sing and be interactive and such, the new album will have 18 songs and will be great especially with the road they are taking back to their roots!

Wow, I didn't know Ben was like this. For some reason I figured he was sort of...not intelligent, and drunk all of the time? I haven't seen very many AA interviews...and one of the few I HAVE seen are the old BryanStars ones, at least one of which he was very drunk and talking about sex all the time. Really, really nice to hear that he's actually a smart guy with intelligent things to say and a clear stance on his band and his career.
I always knew he was like this because he's the founder of the band, I forgot where but there were other interviews where he was more mature like this :)

darkfawn I had no idea he had so much involvement writing the songs. He came across so intelligent in this interview and I was shocked at how much of a hard working dude he is.

I saw AA the other day at Camden Warped, and Denis is so fucking good on stage. I saw Denis when he was in Make Me Famous and he was amazing then, but I was actually so surprised that he performed the songs so well. It looked like Denis had been in the band for years, I was so happy and truly impressed.

When Ben said its a lot like reckless and relentless I got a huge smile on my face AA does heavy I. All the right ways and I love Danny always will but from what if sounds like he was trying to take away what AA is and turn it into something completely different not just help the band grow but just change it I'm glade the guys can do what they want again I still miss Danny but Dennis is cool and has a voice that fits the bands well and I think it's better this way

Denis is a fucking crazy performer it's fucking amazing! It was so nice to see the guys with all the energy and passion they performed with at Warped Tour versus when I saw them in Lincoln and Red Rocks just last year. Warped Tour Denver couldn't have been any more perfect without the new Asking Alexandria
i was never that keen on asking alexandria i had their albums but you know... honestly denis is amazing love asking alexandria now.. can't wait for their album

I used to miss Danny like crazy but honestly now I only miss him sometimes. I just saw them in Houston and it's so amazing to see them on stage. Like Ben said Danny wasn't happy and Denis really enjoyed himself. He's entertaining to watch and the energy is great. I'm really glad to see the band moving forward and hearing the new music.

The way that Ben describes Denis makes me super excited for this and for Denis being in the family. I love Danny, but I have missed the luster of the band ever sense Reckless and Relentless. I totally agree with Ben that the last album did not sound like Asking. It was actually one of the first things I said about it. So happy for this new chapter!! Looks like we are all growing up :)
I love bryan because his interviews are so funny, but I love tim because his interviews get really personal
I love hearing this type of stuff. just the honest truth behind danny and all the positive shit Ben was saying. you can't dwell on the past, you need to focus on what the future has to bring. Idk I just love these type of interviews
I really like this. All of this. The interviewer, the questions, Ben, the new AA. I think Bryan has too much on his plate, and it's good to see this channel growing with new people, too!
I like both this guy and Bryan for different reasons.
Bryan asks funny questions no other interviewer would ask.
This guy asks questions that we want to know the answers to.
Both are pretty amazing in their own ways, and I would gladly watch interviews where there's this guy or Bryan asking the questions.

Wow ok I am so stoked for the album now. I feel like this is about to be something amazing.
This interview makes me happy. I'm not gonna lie, when Danny was in the band I kinda had a cringe-worthy view of the band, but seeing this video of Ben and how chill and down to earth he is makes me feel more inviting of Asking Alexandria. Glad that they have this new beginning as a band and that Denis seems to be such a positive influence.

I'm so stoked that AA is better and happier with Denis and themselves, I saw them in Va beach this warped tour and its was insane I loved it so much, like I have been waiting four years to see them and it was incredible. I'm so so exited for their new album to be released it's going to be great, I can feel it!

Holy shit i was so sad to hear that Danny quit but damn i am so excited to see the new vocalist at Warped he seems awesome and i am so happy that they are excited and to see the new album because some bands would have just stopped if the vocalist left but so proud of AA to make due with what they had because you guys really sound so amazing so far i love you AA

I always thought that the "To the Stage" video was the announcement of Danny's departure, I wasn't that wrong. With the recent change in the band, I'm very excited for this new album, it would be awesome and powerful.

I really like this interviewer! Tim, right? I hope you put him on more Bryan, it'll really diversify the interviews even more. A good balance of obnoxiously funny, crazy interviews and down to earth, calmer, informative interviews will really take the cake.
On to AA, from what I've seen/heard, it seems Denis has had a really good influence on them. I'll admit, I was skeptical at first, but I'm ecstatic now and I can't wait to hear the craziness that is the new AA album. I'm hoping it'll really blow everyone away and get album of the year, debut at #1 and a bunch of crazy shit. I wasn't even that big of an AA fan until now. I mean I've heard every single album and I know most of their songs, but I've never been more excited for something AA related than now!

I think with Cayem we were able to get more details of Danny's departure which is great and we were able to learn more about this new record and the mentally that went into it. As much as i love Bryan's style this was a great choice

Kinda wish he followed up some of Ben's more personal responses with some feedback or support or anything rather than just moving along to the next question awkwardly. Good interview overall though! It was nice to hear Ben's side of everything. I'm glad that Bryan didn't do this one simply because it was more personal and I think Bryan would have tried to make it funny. I'd like to see more of Tim on this channel!

cayeminterviews I can back this Ashley, if Cayem shows that he really does empathize with the band then I think his interviews would be stellar. I understand the professionalism, but I think putting down the notecard and just having a 15 minute conversation is far more valuable to the fans as opposed to a Q & A rigidity.

When Asking Alexandria released "I Won't Give In", I honestly didn't like it at first but after many listens it got better and I finally accept it. Denis is a great addition and I can't wait for the new album.

Saw AA in dallas at warped in 2011 and then again this year but with dennis and they were great! Dennis does a good job on their old songs as well. I know they will succeed. I won't give in is great so I'm excited for the new album! I hope they continue to persevere through any obstacles that may come their way! #AAFamily
