Zach! You have come such a long way in your vlog! Everytime I open it it's in the morning and, I get soooo hungry what your making!! Just left the store for a Roast and all the ingredients you had. I continue to pray that God blesses your show and blesses your family abundantly 🙏😇
Well Zach , you did it again! Definitely will be on my menu once this HHH weather goes away 🍽️ Think my eyes just rolled back into my head 😆 just imagining the flavors. I call meals like this “rustic” or hearty. A good homemade loaf of bread to soak up some of that goodness.
Oh my goodness! What a wonderful video! I learned some tips with veggie placement and everything. This is fabulous! Such Sunday lunch memories as well growing up here in Texas. ❤
That looks so good! I love a good pot roast in fall cool weather. I've never thought of using cheese rinds!😮😋 Great tips on veggie size and placement! Yumm! Have a blessed weekend.😊

@sheriturner6118 don't lock a crockpot while cooking. I seen where this can cause it to blow it's lid and shatter the glass. Be careful. I think the locks on lids are there for transporting and trying to minimize any spillage.
Moving on up Zach-exciting to see the new number of subscribers 🎉I like how you rolled the seasonings on to the roast, most people only sprinkle on the top after they put it into the crock pot. Thanks for not shorting the prep. Mmm Good!
Thank you so much! I have been making that roast for 48 years and never thought to bury the garlic in between! I have been incorporating more of the fresh rosemary but will start growing tyme as well! ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Zach, This is how I cook my roast but I have never thought of putting the carrots 🥕 on the bottom. It always seems like mine still needs a little more cooking time. So now I know why! Thanks for the tips! I normally don’t add the herbs but I will from now on. I totally agree about the Yukon gold potatoes! That’s what I always use. Love your channel and you have delicious easy meals. Thanks for sharing with us! God Bless!
This is making me very hungry. Looks so yummy 😋. Now I'm going to haft to go to the store to get the ingredients to make me a roast. ❤ oh, thanks for the tip on how best to season the sides if the meat. ❤ Bates Kitchen.
Looks yummy. I've made pot roast many times but never used celery or parmesan cheese. Can't wait to try it. I live carrots cooked that way. Gonna share this with my daughter, too. God bless you!
Looks amazing. Was planning to go to the meat market today. After watching this, I am going to have to add a roast to my list. I normally put mine in the oven. Going to try the crockpot again.
I usually sear my roast and slowly boil it all day till it shreds off the fork. I always forget about my crockpot options. I think I will try this. So much easier than having to watch it throughout the day and keep replacing the water. Plus the garlic idea! definitely going to try that. Thanks once again for another great meal idea.
Love a good pot roast! I'm anxious to try this. My Mom used to do the one with the cream of mushroom soup. It was yummy too. Can't wait to taste the parm rinds. Thank you!
I definitely will be trying this! One of my favorite meals is pot roast. I do it similar, but not totally like that!!! I have never heard of Ghee or clarified butter before! Talk about food in the south, years ago, my husband and I were driving my stepdaughter's car from Orlando to Portland, Oregon. We stopped in Nashville and ate at a small buffet place. We had the best meal there...not like what you get up here! I will always remember that meal, it was SO good! Most of my daughter's family is vegetarian, but not me!!! The whole Bates family are my favorite, but I almost have to say your stuff is my favorite, although I do love BSB also!!! ❤❤❤❤
Great video Zach! I like putting a chuck roast in the crockpot and love the addition of the shallots. I am going to make this next weekend for Sunday dinner. Thank you for another great recipe. I'm glad to see that your thumb is better. Take care and God bless.
This looks amazing. I also enjoyed how you talked about how to structure the roast. I've never thought about doing it that way, but it makes perfect sense. Thanks for doing these for us.
I'm all about a crock pot slow cooker meal !!! So many amazing recipes for a one pot meal out there !!! Wow cheese in the pot roast I never thought of that living in the cheese state lol !! Oh yes I'm so ready for fall meals and the holidays !! Try this smoked grilled turkey with sauteed veggies you can put them on the Blackstone or any smoker grill and there's still time for some grillin !!! Your roast looked extremely delicious yum 😊

I love all of your recipes and can’t wait to try more of them. I noticed you locked the lid on your first crockpot. Just a tip, don’t cook with the lid locked because the glass can shatter.😊
I use russett potatoes and put them on top of the roast. They're not mushy at all. I typically cook my roast on the bottom, then carrots, then potatoes. I'm going to try it with the carrots on the bottom. An English pot roast is a good roasting roast also.
Hi Zach. My sister adds A1 sauce on top of the pot roast. I'm not sure at what point she does it I'm going to tell you you talk about added flavor and even on the vegetables. Wow

Thanks Zach. Great idea for tomorrow’s Sunday dinner. I dread cooking dinner on these extremely hot Alabama days. I don’t have air conditioning so that makes it worse. Cooking in a crockpot contains most of the heat. Pot Roast is usually a cold weather comfort meal but I miss it during the summer months. It’s only supposed to be 85 tomorrow so it looks like we’re gonna have a good old fashioned Sunday dinner tomorrow after church. Maybe tonight after it cools off I’ll make a peach and a blueberry pie. Thanks again. Oh, do y’all have any ideas for a bone in or boneless pork roast? Again, thanks. Godspeed 🫶🏻
