      May I suggest her potato soup recipe, and her chicken and rice recipe and her chili recipe... AND that is just the savory recipes. Her ,Worst chocolate chip cookie recipe, is down right dangerous. lol

    The time has come for me to cook this. I made homemade beef stock just for a pot roast.
    As soon as I feel better I'm heading to the store for my chuck roast!
    Hmm I think I'll bake some bread for it too 😋

    Looks real good. I will have to try it. If you put the onion in the freezer for 10 minutes before cutting you won't cry.

    I saw a tip for when onions make you cry. Supposedly the onion goes for the nearest source of water - your eyes - so place a wet paper towel near the onions to keep from crying! I haven't tried it yet, but it just might work! :)

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    SO, you cook amazingly, you bake amazingly, you raise chickens and you grow your own spices. WOW. I guess that makes you amazing. ;-)
    This looks SO good, but it is going to be warm here this week so I'm not cooking this right away. In fact I have to finish your chicken and rice soup that I made yesterday before I cook anything else. OH and I bakes a nice fresh loaf of bread to go with it. SO good!!! (I forgot to get noodles for chicken noodle soup so I just made the chicken and rice instead. IT'S all so good.

    Oh, my gosh, that pot roast reminds me of the delicious pot roast my mother used to make when I was growing up. I've never been very good at making it myself. But your great tutorial makes it look possible. Definitely going to give this a try. (p.s. Is it wrong to like the fat too?) 🙃 So good!

    I really respect your cooking technique , that said , I've always put my roast in flour shook off the excess then seared the roast on every side . Is there a reason you didn't ? Or just a personal preference ? . Just wondering . I love your channel .

      Just personal preference! I use your flour technique with my beef stew, yum! So glad you’ve been enjoying the videos, thank you for the kind words ❤️

    What are the black ball looking things in there? I looked in the ingredients list but can’t figure it out. Sorry for the dumb question!

    If someone is stupid enough to eat the bay leaves, it’s probably not safe for them to be in the kitchen at all.😂
