      @@michaeldelaney7208 well it's also about shipping lanes opening up in the Arctic , it can cut transport of goods to Asia for up to 1 whole week, that's a lot of money, USA want to dominate these lanes, Russia and China is however way ahead of that game right now , that's why USA is in panic shouting about all those Russian and Chinese ships (who are sailing in international waters and also Russian waters) but yea it's also about the minerals Greenland have the minerals the US otherwise buy from China

      USA is not invading another NATO country, and certainly not a country of 57.000 mainly Inuit population, imagine how that would look to the world , no country would support such a move and USA also needs allies and trade partners , Russia who is next to Greenland won't be impressed either

    Trump should read the agreement from 1951,can he read??? In a matter of a few weeks in early 1951, a group of Danish senior officials negotiated a wide-ranging agreement on the future defense of Greenland with a visiting American diplomatic-military delegation ("the Agreement" or "the 1951 Agreement"). The Agreement is still in force and has, for nearly 50 years, authorized extensive American defense activities in Greenland.

  • @rgrcooper
    @rgrcooper 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

    The primary concern here is the strategic security of North America and the broader interests of Western Civilization. While Greenland may strongly desire full independence, the reality is that they lack the industrial capacity and resources to secure their island and its assets on their own. Relying on external support for infrastructure development and defense is not a sustainable long-term strategy.
    For the United States, any significant investment in Greenland’s security must align with ensuring that its resources benefit the West, rather than being exploited by foreign powers like China or Russia, whose goals do not align with Western interests. The question Greenland must confront is straightforward: who will have influence over their future-the Russians, the Chinese, or the United States?
    Greenland’s best option lies in becoming a US territory, protected under US Constitutional Law. This path offers them autonomy while ensuring long-term stability and freedom. No other arrangement provides the same level of security and opportunity. It’s an unfortunate but necessary acknowledgment of today’s geopolitical realities.

    Countries where you can make money? Why should the state tax the population? Even though people cannot make money. What does the state make money for?Why do we borrow money from the bank with so many conditions? Why do we give money when we invest but why do they give conditions?why don't you go to school to learn how to make money? After graduating from school, why should you earn money?Why doesn't the state set up a school majoring in design and printing money? After graduating, why are you required to earn money?

    • @G.and.DJackson
      @G.and.DJackson 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @mssuskar yes but not on this particular issue. Why not hold a separate vote to the people that would allow those who voted into power to allow the people to speak? Why does the population have to endure the choices of their vote for the term of their chosen representative? When will the people be able to speak on different views? Im sure she wasn't voted in because of the US /Greenland situation which we all know is not true

    • @mssuskar
      @mssuskar 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @@G.and.DJackson What's the issue? If they can handle by themselves then why bother

    • @G.and.DJackson
      @G.and.DJackson 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @mssuskar well it is an issue they are dealing with. Not all, but alot of people in Greenland don't like being under the rule of Denmark. And im certain you are aware of why.

    • @G.and.DJackson
      @G.and.DJackson 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @mssuskar I'm in no way qualified to speak on the matter, other than the fact that I've done my research and figured my opinion would be: "Let the people vote." I would also encourage you to do your research, and you may come to a different conclusion. But given the fact that many people are very unhappy with how they are being held back by being under Denmark's rule... (Yes, it is beneficial for the US for them to take Greenland. But it seems beneficial for both countries) hence why there should be a vote... not a single voice... The US is asking Greenland, not forcing like other countries who we all know are now involved in a very recent war

    So, Greenland is playing intelligently. They are taking this opportunity to get free from Denmark, while they don't want to come under US control, but they need the money, so, the most likely outcome is, a free Greenland with some lands/ports etc vested to the US in exchange of money from them..

    • @Bajtjr
      @Bajtjr 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If they can get money that would be great but to be fair even security this would bring would have a lot of value else other countries such as Russia might invade.
