Just to say. Im a playlist guy. Now your PZ videos generally stand alone, self contained runs, theres no need to have some PZ playlist. But nothing triggers me faster than a creator who does multi-parts and doesnt playlist. A lot of us out here still browsing the old way, binge watchers, whatever. TH-cam picks what autoplays if it wasnt playlisted and it might just be a different channel xD You probably wouldnt suffer so much from this, im often sent from other peoples multi part content to yours by autoplay, thats you being the bigger channel and covering the same game, but they can prevent that with the playlist
Professional chefs will pay good money for professionally sharpened knives. It is absolutely a skill. A good knife can take many hours of work to hone it to perfection.

The, "when will it be 1.0" debate you were going on about @54:00. The reason some of us want 1.0 (the number does not matter really) is not that we want 1.0. At least for me, its becasue I would want to know when to look into a game again. Meaning when will it ACTUALLY be done. I have reached a point where I will not buy a game any more unless it's done. No more messing with the game, changing it, adding to it, or worst of all turning it into something else. I want to know what I pay for is what I will get in the end. So many games are doing this lately where they just never 'finish' thier game. That's fine in some situations, assuming they only add things to the END of what is currently the end of the game (most (good) MMOs for example). But other games I wont play because they keep adding content that changed the core of the game (Stellaris, Minecraft, or even this game). Thus forcing you to start over to experiance the 'new' content. I, and people like me, do not want to put time, effort, and money into a game, just to have them make a change and force me to learn new rules to the game (making it not the game I bought), or at worst start over (making me lose all my progress I have put into it). That said, I do know games like this one (and Rimworld, Kenshi, Dwarf Fortress) are player narrative focused. The player has a direct hand, or not, in the 'story' or flow of the game. It's the whole reason I watch your channel, you do a GREAT job at taking random things that happen in a game and pulling a story from it, then telling it in a compelling way. To that end, keep up the good work.
I think I see what you’re getting at, though at least insofar as needing to basically start over to integrate with any new systems, Zomboid does have the advantage of being sort of a run-oriented game. Its not exactly a roguelike or anything, but its kind of encoded into the game's nature that you shouldnt be too precious about a character or a run. And lots of what is getting added seems to be more about filling out the back end of the game after you kind of establish yourself, such that players have more material goals than just going to Louisville or something. Some of it DOES change the road to get there, such as the planned addition of siphons or new crafting mechanics, but at least for Zomboid these systems are being added in parallel, not really undercutting the established ways to play the game other than maybe adding some new unique stuff like more advanced metalworking. Or when they do, a la the siphon, to counterbalance that the devs are adding more concrete methods to pick up key items and tools like that. Idk, I like living games like PZ or Deep Rock Galactic, both are or have been very rewarding to me for having jumped onboard before the full release.
