Guys, this is all you need lol. Just passed my 50k funding with market structure. Do not get lost. The 4hr can be trending up but it can be a short term retracement of the daily to then drop. Always know where you are within the bigger picture. If 4hr is bullish and daily is bearish, you can take buys with the 4hr but be very careful as it can flip at any point as you are counter-trend trading. Thanks for this video James. Probably your most valuable.

Good question and we never know exactly so we build our confluence areas within that trading range to then let price approach them and if we see Liquidity swept and reaction to an area of interest we can take the trade. Remembering that it is a game of probabilities.
Great walkthrough on MTF market structure. Can I ask though, where did you get the line charts for each time frame? Did you copy the highs and lows from a zig zag indicator for a piece of price action, or did you use a line chart, or hand map them? I'd like to be able to recreate these stacked MTF sections for different pieces of market structure to practice more complex price action. Thank you.
@@TechnicalFX Right, but were they just hypothetical embedded highs and lows? Like in hindsight it's obviously easy to get highs and lows of swings, as you're just taking the furthest points out, but as we can see, the price almost never fully retraces that prior swing (on that same time frame), it has some interaction with the structure of the lower time frame structure. Like, there are differences in the point it retraces to when a swing breaks daily structure and the 4hr keeps going for an extra couple of structures before breaking upwards, compared to the 4hr only making it one iteration after it breaks daily and turns upwards. Since our point as traders is to find quality points of entry, learning the undefined, yet often predictable entry points can be analyzed and dissected based on underlying market structure. I study that, so I was asking what your rules are for plotting these lower time frame sections, and what you use to chart them, Like one might use a zig zag indicator on the lower time frame and use those highs and lows on the higher time frame. This is all beginning to sound convoluted, hard to express through text.

If you watch all the videos I do, you’ll see I use the wick for my structure points but a break of structure must be a body close above or below the wick depending on market direction.
@techical fx. Please I do find complications in situations where only the 4hrs had a retracement meaning 1hr shifted and market never broke the 4hr swing and continued its move, how do I cope with this scenario? 🙏

That part is the tutorial drawn out to explain how we see it and break it down.
