I hope you all enjoyed the big reveal at the end of this episode! As the Storyteller, I'll share some insight: we are at a big turning point and heading toward the endgame of this chronicle. With all of these revelations and conflicts being thrusted at the Lysander children, the next part of the story will be what they will do this information, how it will affect their family, and how it will affect Chicago. Some of the decisions they've already begun to make will also play a part in this. We're in the endgame now!! 😱
Thanks for an amazing story especially with the end. That was really sad and moving to see (and hear) especially with how it was RP'd and the responses. Great job by all the players and by Miss Magitek. Awwwwh, Alan...was so hoping Uncle Jacques made it to you first.
This is my second VtM show after LA by Night. About a week ago Roll4It started popping in my recommendations so I checked it out, and I was like "Wait, I recognize that voice..."
It's really fun to see both sides of Magitek, as a player and a storyteller. The way she puts her words together in an awe-inspiring manner is so fun to listen to! The whole family-coterie setting is really interesting and the players are amazing in bringing the story into life. Sylas Jr. with that big brother energy, Dorian struggling with the two families he's stuck in between, Val's charming ways like a true Toreador, And of course, Willow being a proper youngest sibling - mischievous and cute. I'm almost wishing that you're all secretly kindreds so this show could go on forever. Lots of love from Korea!
I love that the rules regarding feeding on blood bags and the bagger feeding type came up because I feel like it is a smaller detail of the system that is too often just ignored by many players.
I love hunter story arcs! So scary. Hunters are the scariest foe in the world of darkness.
I wonder if Alan was turned but only as a meal for the ancestor to bring him out of Torpor or sate his hunger from being brought out of Torpor some other way.
When Zapathasura (Ravnos's antideluvian) awakened during the Week of Nightmares, it devoured thousands of its clan.
Edit: Oh, I guess not he was a Ghoul? Unless they changed him at the end of his life? Wraiths are often tied to where he dies so probably sacrificed.
Edit 2: oh ok so Lsyannder or whoever it was in the coffin diablorized Jacque when he woke up, probably woke when smelling the Vitae as old as Jacque, and left Alan for dead.
Ahhh hell yeah! Can't think of a better way to spend Saturday afternoon on my day off than with the Lysander family. 🤘 Love me some vamp politics and Intrigue and magi RPG does it the best! Well I actually don't know any other actual plays of World of Darkness other than Jason Carl's by nights.

INTENSE EPISODE! SO GOOD! Standout episode for Silas Jr who really led the team a lot and the Chantry scenes too, really awesome performance & to Miss_Magitek being Silas Jr's Sire as well as Alan the brother possessing the Hecata (?) - really standout roleplaying performance! These aren't just pretty faces Peeps, these are some very fine RPers so keep watching, I will be!
I've rewatched the episode, since I was pretty sure I missed something during the livestream, because I was chatting ... lesson learned, next time religious silence ... but damn! Miss Magitek hinted at so much lore!

you have 3 fetters, or shall we call them touchstones since this is V5 destroyed right there in one conversation, way to go guys, nothing compared to Dorian's "what the f@..." that Silas promptly reprimanded ... what would that do to what little is left of a wraith psyche I wonder?
Not the point of that scene I know, Wraith the Oblivion is such a great game I hope it's the next one to get a 5th version, if anybody is interested @Huddyvonschland has a playlist on the lore, bye!

Man giving hunters sacrifices is effectively a Protection Racket, you'd have to know they'll be back. BTW, love the cosplay AND roleplay AND snackplay ER Machiavelli-Play by Momobee as Willow! Strong performances from everyone else, too, which along with the fantastic art & production standards plus the great fun of seeing (first time for me) Miss_Magitek as ST and knocking that ball out of the park, really really awesome! I also wanted to offer a quick apology as recent lightbulb in my head in that I don't want to make Miss_Magitek or Momobee or Maelefay feeling *objectified* when I complement their appearance. I'm a trans female myself, I personally am attracted to guys but I hope as talented the 3 women before me in the episode are as STers or RPers know that I compliment their appearances not as someone trying to harass them. I simply mean to acknowledge as someone who had to learn to use makeup and my fashion choices and appearance to get by in Texas when I was 20 years old in 1997 & started my transition. In complimenting, for instance, Miss_Magitek's *flawless* eye makeup I say it as someone who knows it can be hard to learn that skill & you may f*ck up at one point & have to start over completely that it takes effort, creativity, & work to present viewers the most amazing experience possible. Momobee might need to set aside, what, an hour to achieve her character's looks? That's all I mean. I don't want to sound creepy and if (to anyone who reads this) if I bump a boundary tell me please as I do NOT want to hurt or insult or make someone uncomfortable. I love this series and appreciate all the sacrifices made to go into it & the wonderful people in front of the cameras AND behind the scene who work to give us a 5.0/5.0 every single week. You all rock, this series is a pleasure to watch, and it takes me away from all the awful things going on with me for a few hours. And BTW even though it deals with dark topics sometimes, there's always at least one good laugh by everyone. I appreciate that too! The character of Willow just resonates with me which as a mentally ill person myself makes sense give she's a Malkavian character (played AMAZINGLY by Momobee and her deliciou.... er, furry sidekick! Meow!)! Meow meow ^. .^
