haha very true. Liam's voice has progressively grown worse since '94. Noel was always the better singer but Liam had the better voice (if that makes sense) . but now, I think Noel has both.
I think this is the best he's ever been. All around.

Just found this vid; my wife and I were there. Was our first wedding anniversary that day, and it was right at the end of a European holiday (we're from Australia). Whole gig was amazing, and Noel coming out was such an incredible suprise. Definitely up there with one of the best shows I've ever seen. Thanks to whomever filmed this and uploaded it, brought back a lot of memories.

Noel Gallaghers voice is fucking outstanding on this. I'm not much of a U2 fan to be honest but this is pure class. Everything about this performance oozes charisma. Bono holds the crowd and Gallagher gives the performance. Brilliant.

When Oasis broke up I was so angry because they have been my all time favourite band since I was a little kid but it was for the best in the end Noel's songwriting is as strong as it has ever been both his solo albums are amazing and his voice is better than ever. I was lucky enough to have seen U2 original Joshua Tree tour in 1987, best concert ever for atmosphere. Had been gutted that I would not be able to go to the Anniversary Concert at Twickenham, now not so sure. I think i'd rather keep those great memories. Wouldn't mind seeing Noel tho'.
Noel's brilliant enough to do the acoustic guitar just like the 1987 album version. Huge addition to the song. Much better than having a choir, imho.
