Those look good. I made some pickled red onion a few days back, and they'll even perk up a salami sandwich. They do have an odd purple-pink color all the way through and my wife and daughter won't try them (I know they're supposed to be that way). More for me, I guess.
Great snack Jeff wonder if you vacuum seal jar what shelf life would be if you could leave them alone long enough to store for later say making 5lbs at a time
After you made the comment, I did some searching on-line. I didn't see anything that stated you could extend the shelf life. Let me know if you learn something different. Probably better to just eat alll 5 lbs!
Hey Jeff looked also if you make like pickles with raw shrimp lasts about 6 weeks. Think I’m way over thinking.Hell shrimp is always available here yours are perfect don’t fix what ain’t broke. Made two more jars today..........
Hey man I don’t doubt that this is delicious. But That’s definitely NOT pickled shrimp. Did the lid on the jar ever seal? Did you add vinegar? I think you have a good recipe there and it’s prob tasty as hell and I don’t doubt that with some tweaking you could make it last longer than a week in the fridge!
That is NOT pickeling!I dont understand what youve done other than to refrigerate shrimp in their cooking water! Pickeling uses vinegar! Also a tip if you"dont want to loose this good juice"...then why not use a slotted spoon to put shrimp into ice water you lost at least 1/3 cup transferring them!
My wife and I have been looking for new ways to do shrimp! I love this idea!
If you give it a try, please let me know how you like it.
Very nice snack Jeff.
Thanks!
Thanks Mac. I love munching on these while I'm tending the smoker.
Love this little appetizing pickled shrimp recipe. Me and Janet will be doing this one for sure. Thanks for the recipe
Let me know what you think Phil. I read this recipe started in South Carolina.
Just watched this video on my Roku tv. Your recipe looks delicious. Thanks!

Jeff I've never had pickled shrimp nor even considered it. But now I'm going to try some because it looks delish. Great video as always.
Thanks Carl. Let me know how you like them if you give it a try.
Nice, will try this very soon.👍
Be warned Chris, it's hard to walk by the frig and not grab one or two.
I don’t expect them to last long enough from the first serving.
Great job Jeff. Ya done good my friend.
Thanks. Hope all is well Oren.
Never tried this one Jeff but obviously I'm in! :) I always have jars of homemade pickled veggies in the fridge, this is a must.
Yea, I'm always munching on pickled asparagus, green beans or dill pickles. Give this a try Charley.
Cool recipe Jeff, thanks for sharing brother!
Thanks Brian. Hope all is well with you and the Sous Chef!
Well that's something I have never heard of or tried but would! nice!
It's a coastal southern thingee.
Never tried that before but I'm sure going to!
Great to munch on Chevy!
Oh this is a very nice recipe. I never have had pickled shrimp - or atleast not made any i should say :)
It's a tasy snack Lasse. Give them a try.
I’m taking a drink every time you say okay...okay. I’m 🥴🥴🥴
Hey boss.....pro tip from South Louisiana. Try using the same recipe with oysters instead of shrimp. = )
Excellent idea. I get the big Apalachicola oysters from tine to time. I will definitely give it a try.
And, personally I definitely use the hot sauce....besides I think it's a law down here. = )

@@Armadillopepper After all 5 lbs, you would likely have a good idea what a seal fart would be like.

Cracked me up Luigi. I should be there having one with ya!
Take a shot every time he says, “okay.”
Can u use white vinegar
I've never used white, so the flavor might be slightly different.
Very cool and unique. I was not aware this could be done. Yummm
Mant thanks. It's a southern coastal thing.

Hope you are enjoying them Jon!
One or 10 of those would go great on the side of a bloody mary glass.
Tami puts them in Bloody Marys.
Making these adding A LITTLE JALEPENO NO SEEDS NO WHITE
Good idea!
Just a friendly suggestion to improve ur show!
Why not just tell us what amounts to use and have it over when u name the spice??
Thanks Joe. Always appreciate solid feedback.
