    I can imagine this being great in a spring roll. So much more flavorful than plain shrimp👍😊

      There’s a hue style spring roll that contains a pickled/fermented shrimp. It’s an acquired taste😂

    Kinda reminds me of a cucumber salad which I love! I know those shrimp are bursting with tangy flavor!

    I’m almost embarrassed to admit this being from and living in Mississippi but I didn’t even know pickled shrimp was a thing. Me and the Mrs love gulf shrimp we will be making this once she gets healed from knee surgery

    Oh this is perfect, I'm actually planning to make pickled shrimp for the first time today and was looking for a good recipe, and this one sounds delicious.

    I'm glad you mentioned to not let it soak more than 4 hours. Ive heard some people let it go longer and it was ruined.

      Thanks Greg! Yea kinda reminds me of how ceviche is cooked in lemon or lime juice. Even though these are cooked mildly on the stove, and uses vinegar and lemons for the acid, it’s still similar. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate brother!

    thank you, sir. call this a shrimp salad and i bet it'd kill at a potluck. probably need to keep it to the first and last of the season when it's more temperate out or indoors. should go fast so if there are leftovers only the host or yourself would have to deal with the texture change. imagine day after it would be pretty good on a sandwich roll.

    Yummy I love shrimp can't find any like that in Michigan unless you pay out the high dollar for them though great video

      You can use shrimp from the freezer section of your grocery stores but I do recommend USA wild caught shrimp

    I think I’m southern live in Georgia since birth now nearly 70 years ago..I’ve never heard of pickled shrimp..must be a Cajun thing ?

      It’s not a Cajun thing and I’m surprised you have never heard of it being in Georgia. Paula Deen has a good recipe for it as well

    Rus, in case I missed it , are these U-10 shrimp ? Damn,will you bring this to Boogers next year for Memorial weekend? I’m gonna try this with some Gator Shake and possibly some Tx Cajun!

      No they weren’t as big as u10 prawns but these are classified as 16/20 count shrimp which are large and perfect size for this. Thanks for checking it out Kent! We will se what next year brings brother

    Russ, say you have leftovers for the next day, would you remove just the shrimp and store in the refer in a ziploc or something to stop the vinegar cooking it?

    Russ that looked like maybe 16/20s shrimp would 21/25s or smaller make a difference in time to marinate, does size matter lol.
