i’ve always wondered, if someone had cheek piercings, took them out, and then filled their mouth with water and like puffed out their cheeks.... would the water spray out?

I had my cheeks pierced for a little over a year and had to take them out. But, if you do take them out, they heal to look like natural dimples. So they won't look out of place or weird. I actually get tons of compliments about my dimples from the piercings and people are shocked that it's actually just scaring left behind.
How long did it take for the scars to not be so bad? I took mine out a month ago

@@hoesmad8445 I stopped smoking when I took them out, but was still using nicotene patches till about two or three weeks ago. Once I stopped the nicotene patches, my skin and scars reduced dramatically and are getting lighter in color. I still have one side a bit worse than the other, but that side got irritated often so I have the piercing scar, and a tiny scar where I would get a bump. I actually like the scar on my left side though. It's been 4 months now.

@@elleem8873 i always had a dimple on my right side, even before my piercings, so that one is definitely there and prominent. The left side isn't as deep as the right but is still there. My piercings must have migrated while they were in, my scars aren't just little dots, they're probably about 1cm lines on each side going vertical/slightly diagonal. But yes I still have both dimples and I don't mind the scars.

Top questions you get asked if you have cheek piercings:
1. If you take them out and fill your mouth up with water, will water spray out of them? No that is not a thing like at all.
2. Is it one bar going right the way through? No they are separate piercings.
3. Did it hurt? Yes, its 2 14g needles going through your cheek, of course it hurt.
4. Do you ever bite down on them? No unless they are the longer bars, once you have the short bars in you wont be able to bite down on them.
ik this is a year old but i needa know something. ive been wanting to get dimpleplasty but they say if u get this piercing itll give u the same results. do u think i have to leave them on after a while or can i just take them out instantly?
@@ytho268 if you want the dimple effect when you take them out I would leave them in for a little while although it’s not guaranteed you will be left with dimples

I got my cheeks done after a long time of consideration and seeing how cute they look on you, and had them for about a year before the healing suddenly went south. Like, my body already had a hard time healing in that period, but that was insane. My body's sudden inability to heal has cost me my dimple piercings and two others (I found out how bad it actually was due to pus literally flowing out of my cheek, when I removed them). Now I just have cute dimple holes, and strongly considering getting them done again when I can finally afford them once more.

I had cheek piercings for less than a week back in 2010 and I still have dimples to this day from them, and you can only see the scars with a microscope at this point

jenitail Yaz actually foundation is a temporary fix then they heal up. When the hole closes foundation will cover it. So I think you need to chill

No not for ever duh but I never said forever I said temporary honestly we all have different skin maybe I’m wrong maybe I’m not I’m not mad and I have enough respect. But also I’m not over confident about anything not about anything I say or do or specialize in because it make me look conceded.

I took mine out because I was mostly interested in having the dimple aspect, and I think it looks fine without the jewelry. It's still cute, people actually compliment mine pretty often. :) It doesn't just stay as an open piercing hole. The inside of it closes to where it kinda just ends up looking like a natural dimple, instead of just a hole with no jewelry in it. It only took mine a few months to look like regular dimples.

I got cheek piercings and when i took them out, looks like you, but then with the time, the skin, the scare, got relax and now i have dimples but kind of relax dimples, not like grotesque dimples (I didn´t have before and now i have but relax skin)

I think the dimples stay there because when the piercing heals, it creates scar tissue all along the bar not just at the beginning and the end, like a sort of tube with the bar inside. In fact when you take your ear piercings off ad touch them you can feel something hard inside the lobe. So on the cheek the scar tissue is way harder than the rest of the cheek tissue, so doesn't stretch and maybe in that point the tissue is harder and also the tube is shorter than the thickness of the cheek. I'm not a doctor but I think this is the reason. Also I watched a video where a doctor removed the scar tissue tube from a belly piercing so it could completely close. Maybe doing that on the cheek could remove the dimple, I don't know
