I don't think you give yourself enough credit about the work you do. I've watched most everything you have on this channel, and I am constantly impressed with not only your abilities and skills, but the end results of the what you are creating. This work is top notch, and many other budding model railroad scenery creators can learn a lot from you!
Possibly the best "toiletpaper-water-surface-tutorial" I have come across so far. All the successive steps with each necessity for the effect being very well explained.
Hello again from South Africa. Thank you martin, really loving this series. It must be wonderful to have shops where you can just walk in to buy what you need....unlike us here where hobby shops are far and few between.....you take care
Super informative with outstanding results! Your detail on what materials you used is most appreciated. I worked for a consumer paper goods company for many years, and I'm sure that the engineer who designed the emboss pattern on the converting machine producing the toilet paper you used would be amused by your method of nullifying all his/her hard work while creating your water model. Who would want little hearts in their ocean? Cheers from Wisconsin.
WITH LITTLE EFFORT, THE WATER COULD BE PHOTOGRAPHED AND POSTED ONLINE,AND VERY FEW WOULD THINK IT'S JUST A MODEL. EXCELLENT WORK! GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAILS!
Great work as usual. I'm definitely going to use some of what I've learned to weather my 3D printed buildings I designed. Thank you and keep up the great work.
Hello Martin, although I have seen your water creating technique before, I am always fascinated and astounded by how awesome it turns out. I’m loving this series. Thanks. Happy Easter to you and your family. See ya next time.
A beautiful work, very realistic, you are a great inspiration for me although I don't have the same level as you, not at all, but it helps me to improve and have new ideas, thank you very much for the video. By the way, you pronounce very well the Spanish language, Cola Blanca, hehe!, Kind regards from Madrid.
I found that the clippings from DYI furnace filter trees makes for amazing weeds, and very well worth saving! I’ve used them in my lumber yard and as marine foliage on my water sections over using store bought flocks
Great. I need to try this for making a river. I read somewhere that the white poly-fibers are also good for making bigger foam on the wave (at least in bigger scales). Klear (aka Future) would also make a good gloss varnish, and smooth the paper.
That phthalocyanine paint is commonly simply pronounced "thay-lo green". That's what Bob Ross called it when he used it in oil painting :) It's an inorganic, copper based green pigment :)
I love your Toilet Paper/Glue water ... very realistic and very clever! Well done, Martin! Do you have any idea how many parts there will be until it is complete?
It looks amazing 😀 but i think one could get away without the gel or 💯 layers of gloss varnish .. it would still look great .. i bet if you build a harbor which is hit by a storm .. it would even look better in a matte varnish style .. simulates a cloudy sky ..

I like this series. Good for beginners and those of us who have been modelling for (more than) a few years ...
Good serie for unexperienced railroad modellers ... thanks for showing.
Another awesome video. Thanks for helping us first timers with detailed instructions.

I like your water design. It's simple, looks very realistic, is cheap in terms of consumables. Especially the whitecaps around the boat are great.
Thank you, Marklin, excellent!

Heeeeloo :)
Where would we be without toilet paper Martin...?
Shouldn't the boat riders have masks on? 😄 😁 😆 😅
Great video Sir!
👌👍
I save money by using water.
🎥👍👍👍 Fim🚂👮✋
Those kids in the boat don't have their life preservers on! Bad parents, bad parents!
And remember ....... DON'T use used toilet paper ;-)
