    Hey Joji
Without seasonal books playing a factor, how many books do I need in my inventory
to get at least 1 sale a day assuming I am buying bangers.
I currently have under 150 books in stock.
    I know baby numbers lol

I'm at about 500 and I see at least one sale per day usually around 2-6 though

Sorry for the late reply. Most booksellers will sell between .5 and 1.5% of their inventory in non-seasonal times. So if you have 150 books in inventory, .5% is less than 1 book a day and 1.5% is 2 books per day.

Nice video! Once I identify books that I have sold at a nice profit, how do I find them again?

Thanks! You can track them for your desired price using the keepa track product feature. Or you can also create a google spreadsheet to track them! :)

How many books in my inventory is considered a good amount ?

It's all relative to what your goals are. For me, I need around 2k books in inventory on a rolling basis if I want to hit 300k in revenue/100k profit per year.

Another great video! I have a question, maybe a possible future video idea. I recently found out many of my books are not featured (NF in BQool) in the buy box, despite being eligible in the past and having a selling price that is within the buy box. This happened to me before and it took a month for Amazon "feature-ize" my books. My guess was that I was a new seller and I was slow to build up inventory to send, so they removed my eligibility. However, I've been doing this for 2 years now (thanks to you Joji!), and I'm having the same problem again (right before textbook season too, arrrrg). Have you ever encountered this? Thanks!

Hey! Amazon usually takes buy box eligibility away if you stop sending in books and therefore stop selling books. How many books do you currently have in inventory and roughly how many books are you selling per day?

@@jojidavenport Thank you so much Joji! I have 600 books in inventory, 9 stranded, and I sold on average 2 books a day (I've sold 60 books this month, Nov 1-30th). I noticed my sell through rate dropped this month, so I started digging around and I discovered much of my old inventory (9mo+) was not featured, even if I was the only seller or if my price was significantly lower than the buy box. I use Little Owl and I request shipments every 1-2 weeks depending on how many books have been received. I used to send in a lot more cheaper books. The past couple of months I've been buying more expensive books (cost around $20 to sell over $50, thanks to BookMine!). Because of this, I'm spending more on books and sending less in. Perhaps it's just a transitional thing I need to power through.
