It's so different now but still spectacular. If you get back there, definitely go everywhere very early to avoid the bus loads of tourists and the full carparks. We found sunrise to be the most peaceful. 😀 ~ Karen
It certainly is a spectacular coast. We walked this coastline from Apollo Bay to the 12 Apostles with Andrew in 2014. You certainly know how to capture the wildlife. Loving the filming. photography and information along the way. The 12 Apostle visitor centre is a nightmare, best avoided. It did not look like you had too many people around. The new lookout looks great. Even though the Common Starling is introduced, it is still a stunning looking bird. Those helicopters ruin the ambience of the area. I remember London Bridge very well. Those two people stranded were very fortunate. Those Shelducks are very handsome. How exciting' you saw Whales. Thank you for taking us on your adventure. Loved it. Cheers ~ Joseph
Wow that would have been a really long walk!!! Pretty though!! The new centre at the Apostles was interesting and fortunately quiet at sunrise but I've seen other people's videos where people are crammed all along the boardwalk. Awful! Thanks so much for watching & have a great week! 😀~ Karen
Another great report. Keep including native plants where possible Nimal . It adds another level of interest. I also appreciate the details of your accommodation for future trips I hope to make. Peter
Thanks! 😀 Yes I love the plant information too! Nimal knows so much interesting stuff & I learn something new all the time just because we make these videos. So glad that the accommodation information is useful. We do stay in some great spots & they vary quiet a bit so we'll definitely keep adding that in (just have to remember to film or photograph BEFORE we mess it up 🤣) ~ Karen
Enjoyed your coastal adventure. Lately I also have been traveling back to places from the past. Most places had changed substantially. Now I'm not sure anymore how much I want to revisit these places from the past. Always look forward to your well done videos.👍👍
Thank you 😀 Yes it is sometimes disappointing when returning to places that we loved in the past. There are so many more people & tourists visiting these spots now & the infrastructure it takes to cater for these numbers can really ruin the natural surroundings. Our wonderful memories of these places being peaceful, beautiful & naturally stunning is now just a memory. I worry about places like Murray Sunset that are still (more or less) undiscovered. Once these places are "found" by tourists the wildlife, plants and peaceful beauty of these locations are never the same. ~ Karen
That Blue Steel was shockingly beautiful
🤣 I think he’s been secretly practicing that move!
Gorgeous bird photos .Thank you for sharing your trip. Loved it❣️🇦🇺✌️
Thank you so much 😀❤
It is a spectacular trip, and one I haven't done for 20 years. Fantastic video and stunning photos, I really enjoyed this.
