Wow! Thank you for that info. That USB power device would eliminate an annoying cable going down close to the floor to my power outlet. I will have to get me one of these for my FireTV Stick in my bedroom. I will keep this in mind whenever I can get enough $ to get me another FireTV stick for my newly finished man cave.

Good info to know. I extended my firesticks and cubes some time ago, with 256 GB flash drives, that works great. I have all the storage I need, and I am able to record, from tivimite for cable channels. I use my Recast for recording local channels. And I added a 2TB dive on my recast that came with 500 Gb of storage. Watching TV and recording has never been better.

Nice great info, I have the original 4k stick, constant buffering, my apps don't work half the time I have to restart at least 2 times a night, but I do love using it when it works...
I found out the hard way awhile back. I was installing a firetv for someone and it did the boot loop. The TV usb had enough amps but it still was a problem. So I had to use the wall adapter. Thanks for the info!
This power cable is new to me. That's pretty cool. An alternative solution when using the original power cable is to use a smart plug & schedule it to turn off & back on. I've done that with all 3 of mys sticks, I turn their plugs off every night & back on in the morning, so they get a daily shut down & reboot. But this will let me do the same thing without the power cable running down to the smart plug.
Omg thank u! This will be perfect for when I do my movies outside on a screen! One less power plug needed! Not to mention I am working on getting a firestick on every TV in my house! The ones I have are not the newer 4k ones, the older ones, but I absolutely love firesticks! So hopefully I'll work my way up to the 4k max!😊
I have been having and issue with my FireStick and I think this will fix my issue with having to unplug the FireStick and plug it back into power. Thank a bunch.

I was using the OTG cable with a USB drive but I ended up replacing it with a 4TB hard drive connected directly to my modem/router. All the devices in the house can now see my whole library. I use ES File Explorer to access it on the Firesticks.
Love your videos. This will save me so much less hassle and cleaner look behind the TV. I have a cat that loves to crawl behind TV so no loopy cable to you with. Thank you for your videos and time
