hi guys welcome to my channel Fathir Habib, on this time I want to show you How to Install Mikrotik OS on Virtualbox,
Please open your favorite browser, please type download virtualbox, click on downloads - Oracle VM Virtual Box, on this time I am using windows 10, so I choose windows host, now virtualbox application is downloading, open in new tab, please type download mikrotik iso, click on the link mikrotik.com, click on mikrotik dot iso, now file mikrotik dot iso is downloading, on the desktop you can see that, I was downloaded file mikrotik dot iso and I was installed Oracle VM Virtualbox Application.
Click on New, it's asking me the name and operating system, please type your virtual machine name, the type is Other and the version is Other or unknown, click on next, it's asking me the Memory size, on this time I choose the default 64 megabyte, click on next, it's asking me the hard disk, I choose the default, Create a virtual hard disk now, click on Create, it's asking me Hard disk file type, on this time I choose the default VDI or Virtual Disk Image, click on next, it's asking me the Storage on physical hard disk, on this time I choose default, Dynamically allocated, click on Next, it's asking me the File location and size, on this time I choose the default two gigabyte, click on Create.
Click on Setting, click on Network, previously we had to know the need that we will use for the LAN cards that will be used later, for example here we make three LAN card, or three adapter, then what we will activate is adapter one to adapter three, the first adapter we install is bridge adapter. For the name, because i'm connecting via wi-fi here, so I connect it to wireless, then the second adapter, we check Enable Network Adapter, in Attached to, we select NAT, Adapter 3 is the same as Adapter 2, we tick Enable Network Adapter, in Attached to, we select NAT, then click on OK.
Click on start, it's asking me to select Start-up disk, click on this icon, click on plus signs, please browse the file mikrotik dot iso, click on Open, click on Choose, and then click on Start, if you want to select all, please press a, now we will install locally, please press i, it's asking me, Do you want to keep old configuration? please press n, it's asking me Continue? please press y, now is the processing of the installation, now the installation have been finished, click on File, click on Close, click on Power of the machine, click on OK.
Click on Setting, click on Storage, click on file mikrotik dot iso, click on icon remove, and then click on remove and then click on OK. click on Start, now we will login to mikrotik, by default the username is admin, please press enter, it's asking me the password, by default there is no password, please press enter, it's asking me do you want to see the software license? please type n, please press "Enter" to continue! if you want to see your ip address, please type ip address print, on this time my ip address is 192.168.1.28/24.
