I believe the main reason for using AI or cheating in contests (if it's possible to reach a rating of up to 2000) is to get a resume shortlisted based on CP rating. I admit that if you're genuine, you will definitely clear the coding round. However, I don't understand the point of cheating and using AI. Yes, you might gain rating if Codeforces authorities can't manage or detect it, but the main goal is to clear the coding round-that's why we all do codeforce, what would you say on such people, and think on if every contes gets affected by ai and cheater the what is the value of cp rating, yes I know behind it there is a lot of effort but who is going to make recruiter understand that this cf rating is geniune and not reached by cheating until and unless seating in front of them and solving problems, i doubt benchmark of chatgpt o1 over codeforce problem it must have been trained over it. And final thing everything is upto on codeforce authorities how they maintain and detect the cheaters.

Your point is pretty valid, at first with the experience of using ChatGPT to debug my code (before AI was banned in CF), I clearly understand that AI cant do problems theirself at this moment so I find it a good way to debug your already written code because with the advancement of technology rn, the one who doesnt keep up with the time will get left behind. But with the continuous development of new models of AI, its possible that CF will be flooded with cheaters, in my opinion there is nothing we can actually do, there will be always a way for cheaters to pass the detection easily. Its super annoying to think about the fact that we are receiving a much lower ratings due to cheating inflation but focus on improving our coding skills, sharpening our minds and gaining "real" benefits instead of getting cheating accounts to have high profile CV's. I bet those cheaters cant even pass the job interview with that mindset and bad DSA knowledge
