@GBF freeloader Graphyt has a very interesting texture to his basses. They're very vocal, but not in the way that the typical Barely Alive growl would be - there's more consonance to Graphyt basses, whereas BA growls are for the most part purely vowel sounds. Graphyt basses tend to be hard, but not necessarily sharp, and not necessarily simple and clean - they're usually interesting and messy I really have no better way to put it than Graphyt's basses sound rocky, when most producers mostly have basses that either have a watery, metallic, or concrete-like solid texture to them. I could explain what I mean by those words, but we would be here for a long time, and I think you get the idea. That's the main defining feature, but I think Graphyt also has a signature kind of syncopation in his rhythms, although just about all dubstep is syncopated in some capacity; and the building and varied structure in general is consistent with his style.
