Alex Dicken, you are really beginning to show your salt as a journalist and podcaster! I've thoroughly been enjoying listening to your opinions. It helps when Blues are doing well. I think you are spot on with your speculation on why CD is reluctant to adjust JS's position. Really engaging pod as always lads. Really looking forward to the Shrewsbury game. It sounds like they ain't got much bite, and Blues will be hungry with a packed away end! KRO lads.
This stop-start hiatus with international breaks isn’t really giving us a true picture of what we really are. Thank goodness the next break isn’t until March and that is great news. From this weekend on our team/squad will blossom into the powerhouse we all know we can be. Regular league games unhindered is the key for me.
I think your discussion around May and Jay reflects well the agonising of any fan pondering the same. Brian, for me, is spot on that Jay stays central. But I would play Dykes and drop May to the bench. Jay, Dykes, Willum start and Hansen alternated with Keshi on the left. Everyone other available striker is a sub. KRO
May/Jay ..... (there you go Brian) 45 minutes each , alternate starts. Dykes as and when required. Surely, that's better than trying to shoehorn them both into the same team whilst giving up a natural winger. We've got another lovely low block to look forward to again this weekend. I'd like to see some rotation over the coming weeks, no point having squad depth if you're reluctant to use those players, particularly playing lower half teams.
With regards to the January transfer window, I think we will see 1 or 2 big signings. The reason being that we can spend more in this league than we can in the Championship. The hard part is attracting the quality players we need to this league.
It does frustrate me. Stansfield is far more suited to play behind May and I don’t get why CD is so determined to keep trying it. I think it may be to do with Stansfield’s price tags or he was maybe promised that he would be the main man?

I would play may no9 in this league and stansfield old inside left or right, if it doesn't work start one or the other, the other on the bench. Blues can't afford to drop too many points by drawing games because points totals seem to be very high in this league. KRO/FEA

Thanks guys 🙏 bring on the football again! Let’s get a juicy 3 points on the board again KRO from Brazil 🇧🇷 !
With regards to selection, Sampsted might be out as he hobbled off against Wales last night - looked to be an ankle knock.

Can we encourage Alex and Brian to join BlueSky? We’re starved of BCFC content over there.

I would play in attack May as the 9, Thor in the 10, Stansfield on the right, Yokoyama on the left
They will probably nick a point now with a new manager bonce 😂
Should I say this ? If we don’t win this by a clear margin then serious questions need to be asked.
I agree. It feels as though something's not quite right.
