@Duval-In-The-Wall Palou is just what Dixon was 20.years ago. But that kind of shows you how good Dixon is... a somewhat declined version of Dixon is still a top 3 driver in the series.
To those who wonder, Palou basically just need to finish 3rd in subsequent races to become champion regardless whether Dixon or Newgarden won every races afterwards.
I dipped out of watching from Lap 10 to Lap 35 or so, and when I came back I was surprised that there had been no more cautions. I thought "ah, but Grosjean will probably crash in a minute" and about 60 seconds later he was in the wall.
What a comeback for RLL. For those of you that are F1 fans and just getting into IndyCar, this was like watching the AT04 beat the RB19. Lundgaard got max points too. Win, pole, lap led, and most laps led
Yes, I keep asking, but please do a comedy review of the Rome E-Prix! Race 1, half the grid got wiped out by a manhole cover, race 2, Mitch Evans’s car decided that it liked the look of Nick Cassidy’s car’s backside and decided to demonstrate the birds and the bees… Also, 2 very good races apart from the crashes, but a ruined championship as Dennis has one hand on the trophy going into London…

He's been driving that RLL machine really well. Even before this race, I was kinda thinking that maybe one of your better teams like Andretti or even CGR if he has the spots to give might consider taking him on.
Lundgaard was solid in F2 with two race wins and seven podiums to his name. Plus, as an American, I just think Danish people are cool, so you know I rooted for him.

And it also works as a street circuit, even if the laps are kinda short. Also I loved the Spongebob themed barrier they had in one part of the track. Oh the memes if someone had gone into it
Palou's driving was genuinely crazy good as usual. Once I realized he was in effectively 1st place, I couldn't believe it. If it weren't for that front wing, he probably had a chance at catching / just staying out in front of Lundgaard. Although Palou had actually pit 5 laps earlier than Lundgaard, so I imagine he was doing some fuel save for that impressive P2. I don't really understand how the others on Lundgaard's strategy ran out of gas so.
Thanks fp1will for introducing me to the indycar series it so entertaining. I have grown tired of the boring sport that f1 has become the last decade 😪
Grosjean just doesn't seem to get it . Its not mid pack f1 where your career is judged on a handful of races you can pull a hail mary and grab a podium . Your not going to get pole every race , your not going to be in the podium every race. Its impossible in this series now. Stop pushing every time even when the pace isn't there. Finish your races , bank your points , maximise your bad days . The good days will come .
Exactly i beg he sees this, hes pushing like its his last chances , he needs to remember he is not in a haas anymore, everyones cars are relatively equal he needs ti know his time will come
Rn f1 and indy are quite similar, one driver dominating and still keeps championship lead even if starting at back of the grid and fighting to p2. Jeddah vibes.

this will be the the last one . off to FE or WEC next season .
