Toninho Mesquita hey there. Just saw this. I use a L.R. Baggs piezo bridge pickup and a custom made condensed mic suspended over the f-hole. The two signals are sent via TRS cable to a pre-amp which provides separate levels, eq, etc. If I'm playing a country gig, I'll use a blend that has mostly piezo signal and just a little mic signal. I'll use mic only when I'm playing small gigs with low stage noise. Peace!!
Beautiful! My project for this week! Thank you!
Beautiful... thank you!! I'd love to get the harmony part for that for twin fiddles!!
Killer Lesson! Thanks for shared your Gift. What is the pickup in the violin? Excelent sound, fantastic!

Thanks for sharing. one of my favorites from Jay and Molly. If you dont mind me asking what kind of strings are you using? Thanks Steve
Hi, Steve. I use Prim mediums except for a Thomastik Dominant wound E string (#129 or #130).
YOUR THUMB IS STICKING UP, AGAIN. Just letting you know.
P.S. Something is wrong with your strings 0:09
unbelievable - so beautiful!
That little rolly-bit you did on the opening note was not in the original.
Variation is the heart of traditional fiddle music.
