And guess what, so does the 2008 Clone Wars series. While the show was cancelled before Season 6 was finished, alot of the originally planned Clone Wars episodes have been turned into books and comics. The novel Ahsoka shows an arc where she eventually reunites with Anakin and Obi-Wan as they prepare to lead an assault on Mandalore to remove Maul from the throne when they are pulled back to Coruscant to rescue Palpatine. Anakin gives her a detachment of the 501st Legion led by Rex for her to command and just as she's about to finish off Maul, Order 66 is activated across the galaxy and the clones turn on her, with the exception of Rex who had the inhibitor chip removed from his head.
I guess, it can be canon if you're marathoning the films, & don't want to stop you film marathon to watch 6 seasons of The Clone Wars. I mean it does lead into Revenge of the Sith. I guess this can be placed into the "Marathon Canon" & The Clone Wars will remain in the Regular Disney Canon.
Fun fact: General Gevious on this show was voiced by Richard Mcgonagle he was also the voice of Four Arms from Ben 10, and guess which other character has four arms, Gerneral Gervious! If you ask me this was perfect casting, even if this whole show was before Ben 10.

Me too, I first discovered this show when I was five years old, I was at my grandfathers house one night after being at Target with my mother, in the living room, I saw the DVD for Volume 1, I remember watching the whole thing and loving it. then later at the end of that year for my sixth birthday I got volume 2, I loved that too although I wanted volume 1 as well. Then later I bought volume 1 at target one day. I watched this like a lot of the time after school when I was that age.

@@jakeproven256 Not quite. Cartoon Network held a contest where fans could choose which of three new Jedi should be introduced in the series. The three choices were Roron Corobb, Voolvif Monn, and Foul Moudama. Voolvif Monn won the vote and was introduced in Chapter 20. The other two Jedi were later introduced in Chapter 23.

This might come as a surprise to you all but I personally like this Gendy Tartakovsky classic more than I like the one made in 2008 by Dave Filoni. The reason why I think this version is better is the limited dialogue which made it easier to write and choreograph great action scenes, I think that the animation is more interesting to look at than 2008 one, and the final reason is General Grievous! I mean, he is like a tank in this incarnation! But the 2008 one reminds me of a classic Saturday morning cartoon villain who gets defeated by anyone. Even Gungins! When defeated, this the 2008 General grievous, does what every cartoon villain does best, gives up, runs away, and shouts “I’ll get you next time!” so that’s why I like the 2003 one more than the 2008 one.

Why is this clone wars not part of the clone wars 2008 🤔all this time I didn't know. I thought this takes place before star wars the clone wars (2008 film) after chapter 21 and chapter 22 takes place after the clone wars 2008 Why did they have to make two different clone wars series
Because they wanted to make more money, the 2003 version is the original and was actually written before revenge of the siths, the whole show make a perfect transition between episode II and III. The fact that they decided to declare it non canon years later just so they could make a new one that didn't fit at all between the two movies and milk the franchise again was symptomatic of the decline of star wars sadly.

Plus the fact that Revenge of the Sith was made to take place right after the 2003 show end but they decide to change the canon anyway. I feel like it's a huge pandorbox for a franchise that shouldn't be opened.

This,The Bad Batch, and Visions are my 3 personal favorite animated Star Wars shows, would've been cool if Clone Force 99 was in this canon.
