I just learned about the TripIt app. This is going to make my planning so much easier! I am just learning how to use it, but love you video. VERY HELPFUL!
Yes!! From the Tripit home screen, click on More options... under the trip in question. Then Export trip to calendar. This creates a .ics file on your computer. Then go to Google Calendar settings, Import and select that .ics file. Done! That is a one time import. If you make changes and you want calendar to get the changes, then there is a little more to do, just follow Tripit's instruction.
How do we bipass not entering a destination or a more generic location? I have a trip to Spain where I have 5 different destinations. The location does not list Spain as a generic location or even Europe.
I think those that need additional App like this one are very disorganised people. We want less work, not more work like migrating info to tripit. We hv a brain for remembering. Some of the things are so obvious just remember it. Not everything need to pen down. Nah, I still use my own way. Much lesser work.
You are a good tutor and. Thanks
Much appreciated.

How about cost breakdowns and summary? I can’t seem to find if TripIt pro will do it.
That would be nice.
check the help file. Pro does it if you learn where to look
Can all this information migrate to your Google calendar by chance?

You just need a city.
@@GeeksOnTour but I don’t want to name my trip with just one city. It seems like a limitation to TripIt. I’d like to Freeform name my trip.
@@cathym6508 you can name the trip anything at all eg Europe 2024 then add cities by date (or flights by date or hotels by date etc) to the "trip"

I find it really easy to update and find info on multiple trips.
