Played this great backing track many times. This video, some guidance from Ben Eller, and a whole lot more hours than I was anticipating and I can now play this song.
I first heard this song in 1983 when I was 13 and I got into Jake. When I was 20, I bought a tab for it and tried it, but didn't manage to play it though I had played the guitar for 4 years then. I gave it up.And I started trying it again in January in 2023 because my second son started trying it too. Now seven months have passed since I started again, but I can't play 'those ascending phrases' well. But I will never give it up again. I am 53 now. I'm gonna make it someday.
It takes a lot of brute force practicing that part. Metronomes are super boring for me so I found some YT videos with super basic drum beats (ie: search for 110BPM sixteenth notes) and get up to speed there, then crank it up to 120, 130 etc. Don't give up!!
As Ben Eller would say set it to frappe and let er rip! Seriously yes stick with it. You will get it. I have played for 37 years and am 51 now. I took a long stretch off from playing as well. I didn't think I would ever get it up to speed but through trying and trying and trying again, I finally got it. Stick with it. And have fun!!!
I don't know if you're the originator or not, but this is perfect. I've wanted to learn this song (with the 1984 live outro solo) since I was in 1984, and this is an enormous help. Thank you for putting this up for people to use. Not all of us have the equipment or time to do backing tracks for songs.
Hi S Des, on my channel you can find some other backing track, and news coming soon... th-cam.com/users/FifthAvenueChannel See you soon Keep on rockin!!!
@@lotar2369 Good job bro! Me too, I realized it took me a long time since I have dislocated my pinky a few times and that was messing with me on the last part. I realized this a while after I thought I just couldn't hack it. In case anyone else has had a similar injury, may sound obvious but make sure your fingers feel normal when you play it.
It is the track from the first Guitar Hero video game. The creators/producers of the game had musicians come in and re-record all the songs for the game at the time instead of using original tracks in the later games. It's someone else singing, but he does it pretty good.

Say please , where can download this minus?
Try youtube-dl.
I wish the original recording was available to be used for the backing track and not this guitar hero version. Its a good cover though

rhythm guitar during solo part is too loud
I'd that Ozzy singing? I'm half certain it is, obviously effect heavy, just sounds odd.

its not ozzy, I think is the Guitar Hero 1 version of the original music. Many songs were re-recorded for that game heh. Not Ozzy but nice track!
Jake E Lee deserved so much better

Me mid combat when this slips into my rotation *mid gunfire “this is the worst version I’ve ever heard!!”😂
This is not Ozzy!
