@@juligraham7319 The Egyptian plaques were not a judgement, except for the 10th one. The purpose was to show the Israelites that the God of their fathers was alive and worthy of their worship and to show the Egyptians that their gods were nothing. Why didn’t God just protect Noah and his family and protect Lot and his family instead of removing them. These events were God’s judgement being handed out. Millions and millions of martyrs doesn’t sound like a time of protection. The protection is believed to be by the church being removed and the martyrs are the Tribulation saints. Jesus tells us in Luke 21 when he is talking about the days of vengeance when all things that are written will be fulfilled to watch ye therefore that ye may escape all these things that shall come to pass and stand before the Son of God. He didn’t say he would protect the church he said that they would escape the days of vengeance. The parable of the ten virgins is another warning to believers. The interpretation of being caught up and meeting the Lord in the air seems pretty cut and dry and that it will happen. Certainly the timing has always been a question for those that believe what Paul was saying but with discernment post Trib has basically been ruled out for if all believers are then raptured then theres nobody left to go into the millennium and no one for Jesus to be King of and no one for the church to help rule and reign with Jesus over. Mid Trib would give us a timing of when to be ready for the rapture and since it is imminent and no one knows then this doesn’t seem to be the greatest possibility either. That’s why the chaos of those left behind and the removal of he that restrains is believed to be what leads into the Tribulation but survival of the 1/4 of the human population being destroyed and another 1/3 also being destroyed and hopefully surviving disease, famine, water turned to blood and the chaos of mankind would absolutely take the protection of God, although the bride of Christ wouldn’t be very presentable. I fear that those believing that there’s no such thing as the Rapture or of its timing won’t be ready and won’t be counted to escape the days of vengeance. Hopefully though the parable of the ten virgins and Jesus’ warning to therefore watch, are there to remind us not to stray back into old earthly habits and that we will all still be counted and receive salvation through our faith even though we may not have been completely ready and watching as the thief on the cross also received salvation.
The "wrath of the Lamb", Revelation 6:16 is reserved for the covenant breakers from Matt 23!!!! 70 a.d to be exact. Has nothing to do with 21st century anybody!!!! If one reads Daniel 9, the seven years or “weeks” were fulfilled consecutively with the other 62 “weeks” for a total 70 “week” prophecy. A day is a year in prophecy so this was actually 490 years. Is vegans in 457 bc at the going forth of the command to restore and to build Jerusalem.. This prophecy was a call to the Jews to repent and that Jesus was coming the first time, and would die for them. He caused the oblation and the sacrifice to cease in the midst of the week because He gave His own body as the ultimate sacrifice. And because of their rejection, the warning was that their city would be destroyed. All of this fulfilled exactly. The Jewish nation was destroyed because they killed their own King. They had a misunderstanding of how he would come to them. We today are just as deceived, thinking He will come secretly to save them because they don’t like the idea of persecution. 🙏🏻

I was reading about the time of the flood... It confirmed i think.. the rapture. God removed every good person from the earth...the last to die was Methusala and it was after that, that God asks Noah to enter the ark. And the world was destroyed. I believe the Mt of Olives is the third coming when the new Jerusalem descends after the 1000 years as Jesus does not touch this earth at the second coming - we meet him in the cloud (righteous resurrected and living) to go to heaven (1 Thess 4:13-18) for 1000 years (Rev 20-21). Also acts 1:9-12 says Jesus will return in the same way the apostles saw Him go…into the sky/cloud. But Satan will appear on this earth as Jesus to deceive those that have not been sealed by God. He cannot copy the way Jesus is coming in the sky.

i just hope and pray its sooner than later unless prophecy is delayed for some reason.......we do know that fulfillment is closer each day than ever before......i just wonder what its like hanging out in the clouds and watching the earth below..especially when i am scared of heights......

It’s interesting. Most pretrib preachers/teachers will say that it doesn’t make sense that the rapture would happen and as believers meet Jesus they do a U-turn and continue to earth. BUT these same preachers/teachers have no problem saying Jesus does that. When the people of Jerusalem placed palm branches on the road into Jerusalem and our Lord rode on a donkey…he didn’t turn around…those who came out to meet him turned and followed him back into the city. When Israel was in Egypt God protected them from the plagues. When God sent the flood He protected Noah and his family from the flood waters. Jesus endured the cross…yet the “church” wants to escape! John should be teaching endurance, steadfastness and understanding that we will be hated because we proclaim His name…something we can’t do if we aren’t here. Learn the truth, it will set you free and prepare you for what is coming.

@@davidwoods6015 Christ told Nicodemus plainly in Jhn 3 that a person who has experienced the rebirth will have a spirit body. Paul essentially preaches the same thing in 1 Cor. 15 where he arrives at preaching about how Christians will "put on immortality". Christ is currently a Spirit, and He has a Spirit body, just like He talked about with Nicodemus when discussing what it means to be born again. That's not Gnosticism.

I didn't hear your answer to this question, though- why does God evacuate His own...?? Your teaching and preaching are wonderful! BUT I did click on this video to hear the answer to this specific question - which you put on the thumbnail of your own video! I don't get it.
I believe that our new bodies will be intimately linked with our Lord in a marrage relationship, see Ephesians 5 30:32. And that new relationship has be achieved by our death to our old lives which has released us from the law, see Romans 6 & 7:1-6. Ignore the chapter break ch7 is the illustration of what ch6 is saying. Also we will be plugged into our Lord, no more are our prayers heard, we will be answered almost before we ask. See Isaiah 65:24 but 17-25 is a description of the 1000 year kingdom.
For the pre-tribbers out there, if there's a pre-tribulation rapture, explain to me why Revelation 20:1-5 (kjv) says that those who were killed because they didnt take the mark are part of the first resurrection. This scripture is why it's clear to me that there is no pre-tribulation rapture because those who are living cannot precede those who are dead.
@jlh9065 Well it kinda matters to me because I don't want to see my children go through what the Israelis had to go through on October 7th or during the holocaust. God protected Lot and Noah from His own destruction that He caused, but he doesn't always protect His saints from persecution.

But sequence is significant because the first resurrection refers to the resurrection of his first fruits, the resurrection before the millennial reign, while the second resurrection refers to the wicked after the millennial reign. I think it's significant because there aren't three like pre-tribbers might think. There isn't a resurrection at a rapture, then another resurrection after 3.5 years, then another resurrection after the millennial reign.
A glorified body that will never die. We will watch as those who have survived the Great Tribulation repopulate the earth. After 1000 years of a perfect environment Satan will be let loose for one final time for a final rebellion before Jesus stops him forever.

That's the smartest thing you can do in the midst of all the confusion about pre-, mid- or post trib rapture, to be living in right relationship with the Lord daily, so that by being in right relationship with Him automatically qualifies one to be taken whenever it happens. Instead of stressing, being argumentative, contentious and dogmatic, etc, about these things, instead rather and primarily encouraging believers to focus on right living and their relationship with God then all else is taken care of, no more stress about if you going to make it or not, that has so many in fear. Whatever happens living right is the best place to be. Doesn't mean believers shouldn't be aware and alert about the coming of the Lord, as Luke 21:36 encourages believers: *"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."* It's good to watch and be alert, but not to be so caught up in all the different viewpoints and all the various micro details and to such a degree about how the entire second coming might play out that it causes constant stress and fear about if one is going to make it or not, robbing us of our joy - don't think this is how the Lord wants us to live in these end-times.

Amazing how this doctrine has developed since the early 70's. The Evangelical sect has come to map out spiritual things to a carnal mind. Scripture states that the hope of Glory; is Christ in you, and not a Sci-fi event. All Teachers will tell you that believing this doctrine is not essential to salvation. My question is; if it's a non essential doctrine, then why is it being taught. Ah; but there lies the truth of it. It is not sound doctrine which the scriptures tell us to stay with.

The scenario described in Revelation 6:7-11 reveals that when the smoke clears right at the end of time there probably won't be very many Christians left on Earth to be raptured. All this talk about the so-called 'rapture' (a non-Biblical word) serves to distract Christians from reality by giving them false hope of being able to escape reality rather than encouraging them to prepare for the worst. My observation has been that the raptureheads have an escapist mindset that is nearly identical to the mindset of people who play the lottery. "Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of the fool are in the ends of the earth." Proverbs 17:24 in the King James Version.
Those who are in Christ are the remnant. Wheat remains, tares are taken out and destroyed. We will stay here as Christ returns and reigns for 1000 years. When He returns, this will become a new earth. Meeting Him in the air doesn’t mean we will go anywhere. We aren’t going anywhere until after the judgement. People are suffering all day every day for thousands of years now, idk why people think they will escape. Stand firm in faith and endure to the end.
Word of God must be taught chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Scripture says that God will rise up one of the brethren to point others in the right direction and the Holy Spirit would set up shepherds that will teach and feed the flock correctly. When you completely surrender to God - the 'you' that 'is you' - is 'not'. So as to say, 'cannot be found'. The 'cloud' that we meet with Him in is the 'pillar of cloud'... when we obediently walk in the light (day). This is the time BEFORE the 'last night'... and it happens all the time all over the world. The Book of Revelation is a 'map and guide' - a set of instuctions that are to be done, and 'quickly'. There are (2) ways to fulfill every prophecy, one negative, one positive - use Ninevah as an example. A person can either 'wait' (sleep), or do the 'works' (repent and follow). One method brings the 'rod' and the other follows the 'staff'. Life is in the flesh and blood, and death in the dust... the new covenant was about turning around and seeking life through repentance and forgiveness. The 'son of man' is always referred to in the 3rd person because it (the) son of man, represents our spiritual choice to follow... which ultimately requires 'faith'.
"Just before He comes in to make the final sweep and clean up the mess..." This is a theory, but it does not agree with Paul. Paul tells us that the rapture will come just before wrath. JOhn in Revelation tells us that the Day of His wrath will start at the 6th seal, but the 70th week will not start until the 7th seal. God will put the WEEK inside the DAY so every judgment of the WEEK will also be a judgment of the Day of the Lord and so will come with His wrath. In short, the church, along with Jesus, will spend the 7 years in heaven. God certainly will "evacuate" His church, or pull us out before His wrath, but where many miss it is, His wrath begins before the 70th week, and will last through the entire week, even to His coming to Armageddon.

@@wwj14 Pre-trib theory has had holes in it for a very long time. It is why people have looked for other views. For example, a beginning reader can read Revelation 4:1 and imagine a rapture. However, that does not agree with Paul who wrote about the rapture. Just three verses after Paul wrote of the catching up of those who are "alive and remain," he wrote of the Day of the Lord and shortly after that, he wrote of God's wrath. Did you ever wonder why Paul would include the Day of the Lord and God's wrath in his rapture passage? It is because the rapture will be the trigger for the start of the Day of the Lord and of God's wrath. I believe the rapture and the Day of the Lord will be back-to-back events-no time between. One moment the rapture will take place, and the next, it will be the Day of the Lord. Can you be more specific about what you disagree with?

Rapture doctrine did not exist before Darby invented it in 1830 AD. Before it "popped into John Darby's head" no one had ever heard of a secret rapture doctrine.

The Egyptian plaques were not a judgement, except for the 10th one. The purpose was to show the Israelites that the God of their fathers was alive and worthy of their worship and to show the Egyptians that their gods were nothing.
Why didn’t God just protect Noah and his family and protect Lot and his family instead of removing them. These events were God’s judgement being handed out.
Millions and millions of martyrs doesn’t sound like a time of protection. The protection is believed to be by the church being removed and the martyrs are the Tribulation saints.
Jesus tells us in Luke 21 when he is talking about the days of vengeance when all things that are written will be fulfilled to watch ye therefore that ye may escape all these things that shall come to pass and stand before the Son of God. He didn’t say he would protect the church he said that they would escape the days of vengeance.
The parable of the ten virgins is another warning to believers.
The interpretation of being caught up and meeting the Lord in the air seems pretty cut and dry and that it will happen. Certainly the timing has always been a question for those that believe what Paul was saying but with discernment post Trib has basically been ruled out for if all believers are then raptured then theres nobody left to go into the millennium and no one for Jesus to be King of and no one for the church to help rule and reign with Jesus over. Mid Trib would give us a timing of when to be ready for the rapture and since it is imminent and no one knows then this doesn’t seem to be the greatest possibility either. That’s why the chaos of those left behind and the removal of he that restrains is believed to be what leads into the Tribulation but survival of the 1/4 of the human population being destroyed and another 1/3 also being destroyed and hopefully surviving disease, famine, water turned to blood and the chaos of mankind would absolutely take the protection of God, although the bride of Christ wouldn’t be very presentable.
I fear that those believing that there’s no such thing as the Rapture or of its timing won’t be ready and won’t be counted to escape the days of vengeance.
Hopefully though the parable of the ten virgins and Jesus’ warning to therefore watch, are there to remind us not to stray back into old earthly habits and that we will all still be counted and receive salvation through our faith even though we may not have been completely ready and watching as the thief on the cross also received salvation.
The "wrath of the Lamb", Revelation 6:16 is reserved for the covenant breakers from Matt 23!!!! 70 a.d to be exact. Has nothing to do with 21st century anybody!!!! And a future "tribulation", that's another Matt.24 hiccup from John Nelson Darby , plus a "boogieman" anti-christ? Not in our future!!! He got mugged in 68 a d. His bodyguard did him in!!!!! If one reads Daniel 9, the seven years or “weeks” were fulfilled consecutively with the other 62 “weeks” for a total 70 “week” prophecy. A day is a year in prophecy so this was actually 490 years. Is vegans in 457 bc at the going forth of the command to restore and to build Jerusalem.. This prophecy was a call to the Jews to repent and that Jesus was coming the first time, and would die for them. He caused the oblation and the sacrifice to cease in the midst of the week because He gave His own body as the ultimate sacrifice. And because of their rejection, the warning was that their city would be destroyed.
All of this fulfilled exactly. The Jewish nation was destroyed because they killed their own King.
They had a misunderstanding of how he would come to them.
We today are just as deceived, thinking He will come secretly to save them because they don’t like the idea of persecution. 🙏🏻

I was reading about the time of the flood... It confirmed i think.. the rapture. God removed every good person from the earth...the last to die was Methusala and it was after that, that God asks Noah to enter the ark. And the world was destroyed.

Also acts 1:9-12 says Jesus will return in the same way the apostles saw Him go…into the sky/cloud.

Paul essentially preaches the same thing in 1 Cor. 15 where he arrives at preaching about how Christians will "put on immortality". Christ is currently a Spirit, and He has a Spirit body, just like He talked about with Nicodemus when discussing what it means to be born again. That's not Gnosticism.

Unfortunately, the titles of these videos don't always correlate to what's being discussed. They do in a general way but not specifically.
I believe that our new bodies will be intimately linked with our Lord in a marrage relationship, see Ephesians 5 30:32.
And that new relationship has be achieved by our death to our old lives which has released us from the law, see Romans 6 & 7:1-6. Ignore the chapter break ch7 is the illustration of what ch6 is saying.
Also we will be plugged into our Lord, no more are our prayers heard, we will be answered almost before we ask. See Isaiah 65:24 but 17-25 is a description of the 1000 year kingdom.
For the pre-tribbers out there, if there's a pre-tribulation rapture, explain to me why Revelation 20:1-5 (kjv) says that those who were killed because they didnt take the mark are part of the first resurrection. This scripture is why it's clear to me that there is no pre-tribulation rapture because those who are living cannot precede those who are dead.

But sequence is significant because the first resurrection refers to the resurrection of his first fruits, the resurrection before the millennial reign, while the second resurrection refers to the wicked after the millennial reign. I think it's significant because there aren't three like pre-tribbers might think. That's the smartest thing you can do in the midst of all the confusion about pre-, mid- or post trib rapture, to be living in right relationship with the Lord daily, so that by being in right relationship with Him automatically qualifies one to be taken whenever it happens. Instead of stressing, being argumentative, contentious and dogmatic, etc, about these things, instead rather and primarily encouraging believers to focus on right living and their relationship with God then all else is taken care of, no more stress about if you going to make it or not, that has so many in fear. Whatever happens living right is the best place to be.
Doesn't mean believers shouldn't be aware and alert about the coming of the Lord, as Luke 21:36 encourages believers:
*"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."*
It's good to watch and be alert, but not to be so caught up in all the different viewpoints and all the various micro details and to such a degree about how the entire second coming might play out that it causes constant stress and fear about if one is going to make it or not, robbing us of our joy - don't think this is how the Lord wants us to live in these end-times.

The scenario described in Revelation 6:7-11 reveals that when the smoke clears right at the end of time there probably won't be very many Christians left on Earth to be raptured. All this talk about the so-called 'rapture' (a non-Biblical word) serves to distract Christians from reality by giving them false hope of being able to escape reality rather than encouraging them to prepare for the worst. My observation has been that the raptureheads have an escapist mindset that is nearly identical to the mindset of people who play the lottery.

Those who are in Christ are the remnant. Wheat remains, tares are taken out and destroyed. We will stay here as Christ returns and reigns for 1000 years. Hi, the reason all religions will be caught up together, is that.....God sent the torah to the Jews through his prophet, the Bible to Jesus through him, and the Quran to Muslims through the LAST prophet Muhammad. Sinners didn't listen to 1st or 2nd, or even the last book. So he is sending Jesus and Muhammad down to bring the believers to the ONE God Almighty.

There are (2) ways to fulfill every prophecy, one negative, one positive - use Ninevah as an example. A person can either 'wait' (sleep), or do the 'works' (repent and follow). One method brings the 'rod' and the other follows the 'staff'.
Life is in the flesh and blood, and death in the dust... the new covenant was about turning around and seeking life through repentance and forgiveness. The 'son of man' is always referred to in the 3rd person because it (the) son of man, represents our spiritual choice to follow... which ultimately requires 'faith'.

This is a theory, but it does not agree with Paul. Paul tells us that the rapture will come just before wrath. JOhn in Revelation tells us that the Day of His wrath will start at the 6th seal, but the 70th week will not start until the 7th seal. God will put the WEEK inside the DAY so every judgment of the WEEK will also be a judgment of the Day of the Lord and so will come with His wrath.
In short, the church, along with Jesus, will spend the 7 years in heaven. God certainly will "evacuate" His church, or pull us out before His wrath, but where many miss it is, His wrath begins before the 70th week, and will last through the entire week, even to His coming to Armageddon.

Pre-trib theory has had holes in it for a very long time. It is why people have looked for other views. For example, a beginning reader can read Revelation 4:1 and imagine a rapture. However, that does not agree with Paul who wrote about the rapture. Just three verses after Paul wrote of the catching up of those who are "alive and remain," he wrote of the Day of the Lord and shortly after that, he wrote of God's wrath.
Did you ever wonder why Paul would include the Day of the Lord and God's wrath in his rapture passage? It is because the rapture will be the trigger for the start of the Day of the Lord and of God's wrath. I believe the rapture and the Day of the Lord will be back-to-back events-no time between. One moment the rapture will take place, and the next, it will be the Day of the Lord. Can you be more specific about what you disagree with?

Pre-tribulation rapture theology was popularized extensively in the 1830s by John Nelson Darby and the Plymouth Brethren, and further popularized in the United States in the early 20th century by the wide circulation of the Scofield Reference Bible. Rapture doctrine did not exist before Darby invented it in 1830 AD. Before it "popped into John Darby's head" no one had ever heard of a secret rapture doctrine.
