@@LeoBassCovers2 they were pretty good times.. I taught myself this bassline , well the main part, back then.. I should get a new bass and play again.. this is for real a 32 year time leap for me bro.
wonderful!. I always thought three days is a wonderful song with a fantastic groove, dynamic, melody and a beautiful melodic long hypnotic guitar solo... underrated band, even if they are in the history or rock but they are so creative and original ... Jane's are still underrated.
@@LeoBassCovers2 I have been wanting to pick up the Bass and this is why.. You play with such ease, smoothness and grace. One of my favorite songs and what a way to enjoy it... Thanks again.
Lol, me too!!!! It was close enough, though, to make out what I was playing and I have no formal guitar or bass training. Love JA and this sick bass line!!!
Eric Avery is up there with Glen Matlock,Craig Adams and Gary Mounfield as criminally underrated bass players whose bass lines defined the sound of what were, at the time, new musical movements.
Fantastic tabbing. One quick note, when you go up the neck in the chorus at 2:35, I'm pretty sure Erick Avery keeps playing on the D string: -13-14-14-14-14-17-16- -14-14-14-14-14-17-17-
Greatest song of that era for me and prob all time , navarro obviously hadnt heard of wound g strings though , that g always sounds a touch out of tune to me
One of the best bass lines ever.
This song is amazing
Agreed!
Sinfully underrated. Why don't more people know about this song? It's mind blowingly tragic. Great cover.
Thank you! To be fair, I didn't know about this song until somebody requested it..
We do.
From day one
shhh it´s our secret 🖤
Man does this take me back.. 15yr old kid.. mad at the world.. early 90s.. good time to be alive! You play this masterfully sir.. chills.. 🤘😯🤘
Good times huh? Thank you very much!

Dude, This is killer! Well done
Thanks a lot!
Excellent work!! It sounds to me like he goes to 1/8 notes during the guitar solos in the middle section. Wondering what others think.
I totally agree. This was awesome but I think the switch from 1/4 to 1/8 should be there.
Wow great job! Thanks so much
Thank you :)
thank you boy!!
Beautiful & brutal
Thank you
You're welcome
Temazo
Man you're awesome. Thank you so much!
Thank you!
NICE
What are the H and P notations on the G string 16th notes in the opening measures?
H = hammer-on
P = pull-off
hope that helps :)
@@LeoBassCovers2 Yes, thanks!
brilliant. They were teenagers when they wrote this.

Doesn't sound as good with a pick.
It was originally played with a pick though
@@LeoBassCovers2 Yeah, this just doesn't sound right.
@@Robey1Kenobi You know I'm playing with a pick right?
It doesn't bother anyone that for a "how-to" video he's playing a part composed on a four string on a five-string?
I'm not touching that 5th string though. I think it would've been useless if i tabbed it as a 5 strings version.
