Anyone else notice that the male speaker tends to place emphasis on where the accent is and the female speaker
places emphasis on another syllable? very confusing....

Good call. I guess early/beginner learners might want some basic verbs first, but the concept of perfective/imperfective is so crucial to understanding the meaning… Maybe a separate video series with perfective/imperfective pairs would be a good idea.
