I’m going through this process right now getting a good building and this was a lot of great advice! Thank you so much for this video. By any chance, is there a good and honorable lawyer that you recommend to help us go through a lease?
sure thing! We do them Monday and Wednesday afternoons in the summer from 1:30-4:30 while we are closed to the public. They are for children 3+ and we have all different themes. Parents drop off for the duration of the camp. We provide crafts and snacks!
@@katherinemyer4909 It didn't since it was not a major source of revenue for us-- and since it is legal in NYS to offer this kind of drop-off care without a daycare license! We shared our business plan with this information and it was worked into our original premium-- and our agent stated that it did not affect the rates in this case. However, we did opt for MORE coverage than was legally required / required by our landlord, so this might be why!
I appreciate your honesty in your videos. Well done
thank you!!
Great! Very helpful because I definitely thought this would be the number 1 ideal thing to look for !

Its best to go with someone local in my opinion since there are many local laws they will have to navigate!
@@PlayCafeAcademy gotcha and that’s what I was thinking too. Thank you for the quick reply and have a great day!
@@MrMatt531 no problem! Just make sure they are experienced in commercial leases specifically :)
Hi for this business do you need a type of insurance??
I have a video specifically about insurance! Yes, you need multiple types - th-cam.com/video/plVzRiGOTUg/w-d-xo.html
Can you tell me a little bit about what your camps look like?

@@PlayCafeAcademy How much does a camp usually cost? Thank you
@@kormashkavinni for us they were $180-200 for the week (3 hrs per day, 5 days)
@@PlayCafeAcademy how does this effect your insurance premium? Doing a drop off camp vs when parents are present.
