My relationship with my mom has been kind of difficult for a couple years. Watching this makes it clear that there is no reason to hold a grudge or withhold myself from her out of spite. I’m going to call my mom. Thank you for everything, Mary Jane and Tom Green.
She is soooo in tune with Tom and knows him better than anybody on the planet. It’s a thing of beauty. Never underestimate a mother’s unconditional love
Aww such a sweet Podcast, your mum's lovely.my mam died when I were 11,.its nice to see the relationship ship as we get older 🎉, thanks from Scotland folks❤
Loved your “crazy” talk show days but I really love this Tom! The real deal. Plus you’re mom is literally the cutest. I could watch y’all talk all day. Can’t wait to see the show about your Canadian life. ✌️
Was anyone else on the edge of their sea thi entire episode? She is and always has been a clear source of the brilliance we all love with Tom. Thanks both of you!
It's beautiful to see this. My mother passed away too early last year. To see this kind of relationship heals me in a way. Awww isn't that so sweet?❤😅 Thank you Thom Grenish
Mary Jane is a great lady. She reminds me of my mom. Same age, same demeanor, similar voice. Mary Jane did an excellent job raising you boys. Always a treat to check in with her. Great test.
Let Mrs Green know that we love her dearly. ❤ I had a great relationship with my parents but I doubt they would've been as forgiving as your mum. Plus, she made sweet sweet love and created Tom, and for that we salute her 🖖
Was really cool to hear Tom speak so honestly. I'm glad he's finding peace in this world, and he's always been a huge inspiration for me. Much love! Keep being you, man!
This conversation was the best! Loved the end when mom didn't know you were still recording. LOL. My son is creative too, he's 30 now, but when he was in high school, he had a band and had recording equipment. I would come into his bedroom to yell at him for something or I would go in there to share a weird dream I had, and he would record me (I had no idea) and then use parts of what I said in his songs he'd create. LOL
Hi Tom - awesome podcast with your lovely mother. Your brother has always been mostly “behind the scenes” in your tv shows and even your very public life It would be great to have him as a guest on your podcast to hear his point of view of growing up you and what he thinks of your career. Anyways, thanks for all the laughs and entertainment through the years. Cheers!
Omg I am so happy to see your mom in good health. It has been so long! My mother left my sister and I at 2 years old and my relationship with her has always been difficult. It has caused many issues in my relationships as well. I know your parents had a tough time, my grandmother had a real hard time with my ADHD, but it was always fun to see your mom and dad in your videos and tapes. They raised you well.
Great podcast interviewing your mom. I recently lost my mom. Like your mom, she was a big James Taylor fan. Thanks for sharing your Mom's stories with us.
Great interview Tom! You have an amazing mother. Great hearing some stories. Remember going to the theatre the summer Roadtrip came out 4 times to see it. Awwwwwwww ahhhhhhhh awwwwww oooohhhhhh aaaaahhhhhh! 😂 Bob Hope could jump this with his golf cart! Classic movie!
far out i cant believe how old we are all getting, watching this reminds me of that time you painted your parents house back on the tom green show....gee time fly's where have all the years gone
I enjoyed this alot. You've brought alot of moments of joy into my life over the years and it was fascinating to see you with your mom. Love you tom green!
Thank you, Tom and Tom‘s mother. Glad to hear you both. Don’t ever overthink what you did in the past you did what you needed to do. That’s why you are the best. We love you. Big hugs from Saskatchewan.
Let’s not forget your two Howard interviews which were awesome and when we got a first glimpse at a different side of Tom, a more introspective side that fans hadn’t seen up to that point. Love the honesty, the candidness, the caring et aussi le beau rapport que vous avez! Thank you Tom for letting us enjoy your beautiful soul! Thank you Mary Jane for being a beautiful human as well. You’re aloud to drink wine and Tom is aloud to care and voice concern. Beautiful moment 🤣 And we would love to hear more about the story with cousin Rodney. 🤣✌️
That was so wholesome, thank you Tom. I worked at Burger King in the late 80’s when you were filing next door at Rogers, I was always hoping to see pull a stunt in there, those were good days Tom. You sure went through a lot of milk bags. 😆 thanks for always providing us with great entertainment, we also watched Lettermen, SNL, flying circus, SCTV and of course the Tom Green Show. take good care Tom and all the best. Marc
Tom, long time web o viewer. One time in person stand up show attendee, and one time caller in. I appreciate your continued content production. May the asparagus harvest always be fruitful and all the best barrel rolls be made this year.
Man it would be awesome to see more podcast episodes from you man. Interesting and bad ass to see you and Mama in a somewhat vulnerable state here. You are hands down a mogul who changed the entertainment/tv/media business forever. Thank you Tom Green 🙏
L❤VE IT!!! Mrs. Green is a beautiful lady ! Such a wonderful woman and mom! Tom, I love your energy and your sense of humor !!! Thank-you for always bringing a smile to my face ! Love your videos ! Always look forward to them! Keep on keeping on !!! 💋
Hi Tom! I love this new chapter and thanks for inviting us in your private life. I know its a lot of work and very time consuming being a one man band running sound, mics, board, camera, computer and then having to entertain and be the talent. I think your camera quality is top notch probably the best Ive seen on TH-cam as far as podcasts and your lighting looks great, I like that slide you have a camera on when it pans makes a difference looks very professional. Sorry for the long comment Tom, keep up all the great work and you got some big fucking hands dude.
Dear Professional Top Hat Tom, I’m loving your podcast. It’s chill, in the moment and you don’t have to worry about any bullshit for a little while. Ps, your mom has the most badass name.
You’ve been killing it lately Tom . I love everything you do but this new arc you’re on is so intriguing and fresh. This is gonna be a good year for you Mr. Green, I can feel it
great interview!! your mom is so sweet and clever, love her sense of humour. she seems like such a nice mom and the biggest tom green fan. album release date 05/26/1967
Tom's mum and Norm MacDonald's mom need to start their own podcast. I think people would really like that. They could interview other famous comics' mothers on a weekly basis.
Freddy Got Fingered was a work of absolute genius. Tom Green was able to completely troll the movie making process and the Hollywood establishment. Saw the film in the theatre in 1999 with like 5 other people. Cried laughing…
Wow!! Momma Green got deep there at 23:42. Momma knows Tom better than anybody else on the planet. I think that’s what all of it was at the time and growing up. That’s why it’s so refreshing to see this reflective, genuine, and introspective Tom now. ☺️🥰
I hope you know just how fortunate you are to be able to see and visit with your mother. It seems from an outside perspective you have a very good relationship with her. Could you imagine what it would be like if she was in a nursing home with dementia and all you could do is call, and she only answered once every couple weeks, then only speaking to you for a minute before hanging up? I love to watch you both communicate with such love and acceptance for each other. It's truly a very nice thing for you to share with the world. I think your mother's mentoring has served you well. I wish you all the very best.
My relationship with my mom has been kind of difficult for a couple years. Watching this makes it clear that there is no reason to hold a grudge or withhold myself from her out of spite.
I’m going to call my mom. Thank you for everything, Mary Jane and Tom Green.
Godbless you guys, forgive, repent, love
Did she beat you ?
Well, if she has an actual personality disorder, then you might be just doing what's healthy for yourself by putting up strict boundaries.
Call her..
Life is too short and we are expected to do so much, but we can't do everything.
This lady is a Saint
For putting up with Tom in his Teens haha.
😂😂😂😂And also a marthyre. Beautiful kind Mom Green.
She is soooo in tune with Tom and knows him better than anybody on the planet. It’s a thing of beauty. Never underestimate a mother’s unconditional love
I don't know, man. Sounds like she hits the bottle pretty hard. ;)
@@tygarogue4074Great post.
Mary Jane Green has got to be one of the coolest names
Right... I'm gladly sharing the simplicity :)
@@radattk3145That that is her real name ? or that it's a pretty cool name ? I'm confused lol
Would be suitable if she smoked weed
He better address this and ask of her weed experiences 😅
Great parenting = successful offspring. Camera quality 10/10. Great podcast Tom.
