How to SIMPLIFY a COMPLICATED landscape scene: en PLEIN AIR painting

Great viewpoint and painting. I find these scenes tricky because the buildings facing all kinds of directions punish you very hard if you get the perspective slightly wrong. It was helpful, as always, to see your process and hear about your compositional reasoning.
