I got this card primarily to increase the amount of credit I have available and further boost my credit scores. I'm actually allergic to debt. Can't stand it. If I have a credit card balance, I can't sleep at night. LOL! I'll be using this card to purchase food and gas. I'll probably set up auto pay as well. I actually divorced my wife because she lacked universal common sense, and didn't even seem to want to understand the importance of smart financial decision-making like this young lady in the video. I guess that's what can be expected when you marry someone who went from living at home with their parents to living with you. Now she lives on her own and she's learning life's lessons.

They changed the point system. Now you can do any amount. It use to be a $25 minimum.

I just recently acquired the WF Cash Card and it’s my first time owning a Credit Card. I’m 44 and I never owned one due to staying away from them. But also I have no credit either because most of the things I purchased I paid for up front. How do u think I should use it? Gas? Maybe buy a cheap smart tv? Let me know what u think. I also have a checking account with WF
Only buy things you need! So I think it's completely acceptable to make ALL your purchases on this card (groceries, gas, etc.), but make sure they're necessities and you pay off your card completely each month!
How do you get the cash back? I have the Wells Fargo autograph and whenever I try to redeem it won't let me do a transfer to my bank account.

So basically you have no actual "Cons" to this card besides like not liking their logo or whatever?
In general I don't like Wells Fargo as a bank, I think they're also a bit behind tech/app UI wise. I ended up closing this card only because I opened another card that gives 2% cash back. This is still a great card though in my opinion if you're looking for 2% on everything!!

i had this card for about 2 to 3yrs and ironically got rid of it approximately around the time she made this video. for me it was pretty much catching dust plus what made it possibly the worst 2% card is that you can only redeem at $25 increments although they may have changed that very recently.
It has changed where you can redeem any amount now but I also closed this card 😂

Not a fan of Wells Fargo either! I may get that card too just for the bonus, but citi double cash card and custom cash stacked together are awesome.

Is it true you can only get cash back with this card if you have a Wells Fargo Checking account? This was said as a "con" in another TH-cam review, but you did not mention it. I do not have a Wells Fargo account, so will or won't I get cash back or credit reduction for a purchase?

You said you want to close the account. What is the benefit of closing? Would it be better to not close and just not use it? For credit score purposes, isn't it better to keep it open?
Since it's a newer account it wouldn't really lower my score!

Capital One Venture X but it has a $395 annual fee! I also got the CITI Double cash card which is 2% and no fees!
