I like your curls in this video! Did you use a gel here? This is the line I need to buy!! I have 2c curls. I am trying to use as least amount of products as possible. Maybe with this line I can get by with just the shampoo and conditioner and use that conditioner as leavein. As of now I use the Morrocan Oil curl cream on top of leavein conditioner which is awesome and gives me hold for a couple days, and just use clarifying shampoo like micellar water to wash it out, because I think it does have silicone in it. Would be nice to find a more affordable product for hold. Have you tried Kinky Curly curling custard or Beautiful Curls curl defining gel? According to the thinkdirty app they are clean products, but havent tried anything yet!!
For a good gel try Umberto Gianini curly jelly. 👍

Kasia Zawartko I’ve only just started using them! Two washes so far! It seems very moisturising and my mum even commented on how shiny and more springy and curly my hair looked! (And it smells amazing haha) which did you decide on?! Hope your choices make your hair lovely too!

I actually got the Jamaican Black Castor Oil shampoo (as a weekly clarifying shampoo), Manuka Honey & Mafura oil conditioner and hair mask, and that silicone free styling leave-in :) I was afraid that Manuka & Yoghurt could over-protein my hair like I did last year and had a terrible knot and hay stag on my head :) I also got this little packets of raw shea mask for transitioning hair. So far so good!

What's your hair porosity?
I have normal porosity hair. It doesn't sink in a cup of water, but also doesn't float on top.
My hair is naturally sooo dry and brittle and I don’t have “white-texture hair” (I’m mixed), and shea moisture are the ONLY shampoos and conditioners that show a difference on my hair. Could take a long time for my hair to come back to life though
Interesting you say the hibiscus shampoo felt like a conditioner than a shampoo!! I found the same but with the Manuka honey and yoghurt one!!

Since the whole line is protein, would that be to too much protein to wash, condition, and use a mask w protein all in one week? (Just asking bc i really want to try!)
It's been really good for my hair because it was almost in a hygral fatigue state. It's still been working great for me, and seems to be pretty gentle, but if you think it's going to be too much I'd go and get one of their moisturizing lines as well and switch every other day.

Is this good for low porosity and fine hair?
Wouldn’t recommend since shea moisture has a lot of heavy ingredients which can weigh down your hair and low porosity hair is usually a bit sensitive to protein and this line does contain protein
does it make your scalp itchy?
Yes. It made mine itchy.
