He's almost perfect in mood controlling under huge pressure. But it takes Axelsen years to control his frustration. He's over 30 and I think he'll break his racket again. Professional players who always have high expectation will be easier trapped into frustration. P.V.Sindhu also broke her racket after loosing the key point in ESP opening
It should have a great pleasure to see the counter between the two giants in form momota and the later rengineered axelsen after 2020.nonetheless the dream got broken by the miserable injuries of momota..
No momota lost confidence himself actually he played well after accident but in 2021 he got destroyed by multiple players because ppl knew how to counter his defensive style .Regardless of that id say without the accident he would still be number 1 or number 2 at least unfortunately destiny had other things planned
@@AdityaDhineshmomota lost confidence because he can never recover his form. You can’t have confidence if your body isn’t performing. Momotas demise has nothing to do with confidence. It’s his inability to recover his form physically after the injuries he sustained. Confidence is not something you wake up and decide to do. Confidence comes from knowing you can perform and win.
Maybe the rise of long rally style players have to do with slower shuttle movement as pointed out by some players/expert. Maybe that's why japan produced so many well defended player, not to discredit them of course, just a personal observation
Damnn..compared to the current Viktor, this version of Viktor looks very heavy in his movement, always look struggled to reach the quality close-net shot from Momota. Anyway this is refreshing to watch
why aren’t there as many high clears and long rallies in matches these days? why are players now always hitting out? has the drift become stronger due to better air conditioning or what???!
The game has always been like that. Even one of the greatest match: the 2012 summer Olympic MS final was decided by Lee Chong Wei hitting out. You simply don’t see these kind if plays in highlights because they only include the interesting part of the match
Momota really is the golden telant ❤. Miss u momota
Kento, the genius robbed by fate.

LCW, the genius robbed by Lin Dan.
robbed by fate or did someone cause the crash on purpose
It just goes to show how good Kento Momota was before the accident. Viktor Axelsen lost 11 matches to Momota.
Kento Momota was 14-1 against Axelsen before the accident.
Crazy to see, Viktor's shot selection and movement is so different now.
Momota's prime is incredible 😮
This wasn't even his prime, what are you on about. 😅

in 2020, the ratio between momota and axelsen is 14-1 and people say that axelsen is better than him :)))

1. Lin Dan
2. LCW
3. Kento
4. Chen Long
5. Victor
nah, h2h 5-5 chen long vs mmt but i would place Chen Long higher than MMT for his 3 medal Olympic.
1) Lin Dan
2) Chen long
3) lcw
4) kento
5) Victor

Chen Long’s prime beats LCW’s. He personally took one Olympics gold and one World Championships off LCW.
Lin Dan
Victor Axelsen
Chen Long
Kento Momota (sorry buy we cannot arrange player on assumptions)

Voltric Z Force 2 still my favortite racket, it has a good feel you cannot get from modern rackets nowadays...
All of momota past rackets I feel are so good. It's only the 99 pro i felt wasnt a good choice
Zforce 2 is the best racket by yonex, they even made 11 version of it
