Police in China patrols with their lights on so that people can easily see the police are around. Police seen rate is a crucial key in China. Many cities require a high police rate to intimidate possible criminals. And China is relatively very safe comparing to most European and American countries. Violent crime is extremely rare so that public security police responding in code 3 is nearly never spotted. Most police answer their calls in code 2 considering 99% of they are not that emergencies

There are many drunks in Korea who cause trouble on the roadside, so in Korean police and gangster TV dramas, the police often deal with drunks.
