+danneca skandera Actually, that's close. A pastor was witnessing an open heart surgery and at the end the doctor taps the heart and it starts beating (it has to be stopped to perform the surgery). When the surgery was done and the heart reinserted he tapped on it twice and it failed to start. Then he performed a quick emergency procedure and again nothing. So the surgeon took his mask off, walked to the head of the table and whispered to the lady that the procedure was over and successful, but she needed to start beating her heart again. A few seconds later it started beating.

And yes, bad things happen because of the evil that has spread into this world, but God can bring you back from the depression, the heartache, the self-hatred, whatever you are going through. I've been under a major spiritual attack. It's been a little over 3 weeks. I felt like a shell of who I was. Dwelling in the past drowning in my tears. Early this morning as I couldn't sleep I surrender to God. At that moment God's Presence kept washing over me the whole night. I feel the depression leaving. Some night I listen to Praise and Worship music on Pandora. Tonight is the first time I heard this song. Confirmation that God has heard my cries. God is so mercifully wonderful. God Bless everyone

She has been operated from a tumor on her pituitary. We have 4 children, and it has been hard. But we know we will have more chances to praise Jesus together again. He is worthy. My Momma went to be with the Lord on Feb. 5th, 2016...she died at home, in my arms...the most difficult thing I've ever faced. I didn't hear this song until I made the trip to leave the east coast where I lived the last ten years of my life taking care of my precious Momma. I heard it in April right before I left...while it makes me cry it now gives me strength. I feel like my Holy Saviour, Jesus Christ, and my precious Momma both speak to me through this song. Back in November, my parents got a divorce. And honestly I didn't think I'd make it out of the pain of all that. And past struggles came back to me and honestly, I still don't know yet. It's still hard. But I was driving home from work yesterday, and on K-Love, the speaker said God plays music for us at a certain time because he knows we need it. This song helped me a lot because when I was 5(now 15) my father was deported from the united states back to Mexico and since then he hasn't called and I haven't seen him. At one point I was denying god because I kept remembering the nights I would wake up to my mom on the floor bleeding . I'm losing mine she's lost so much weight she's weak she was in the hospital in October she needed 4 pints of blood within just 2 days. They released her and she won't go back. She's just dying slowly.
This has been "the song" that pulls me along since unexpectedly losing our beautiful 6 year old daughter a year ago to the flu. It still doesn't seem like it can be real. I held her as she died. The hardest thing I've ever faced is having to give her back to God and to feel her heart stop beating but mine continue. I am a heroin addict in recovery... this song means so many different things to me. I have Od'd many times, and ONLY the grace of God made my heart beat again... this world has driven me to my knees many times, but thanks to the amazing people God has placed in my path, I now have the strength, and hope to begin again at 50!!! This is dedicated to my 19 year old cousin, Sabrina. She's ran away from home and left her 18 month old daughter with her mom. This song is so special to me. God spoke audibly twice to me through it. I wish I could speak to Danny and explain to him, how God used this song to heal me. The line where he says let every heartbreak and ever scar be a picture that reminds you who has carried you this far. I used to look at my past and ask why God, why did all this bad happen to me. Where where you on all this. Then God spoke those words to me. And it changed the way I looked at my past. Instead of looking at where was God? Now when I look back at my past at all the hurtful things that happened. I see God there, walking beside me, even carrying me through some real dramatic stuff. I'm a recovering drug addict, I did for many year been here and there. now it's been a year and a few months out of rehabilitation, I joined gym and started working out and it's been a year ( I'm proud of my self for that ) I wanted to be close with God cause he saved me from each and every dangerous situation , I started going to church and I decided to take baptism this year but trails and temptation are very hard and I smoked just weed for some days only after job, workout and before sleep and I'm having family problems and I'm a short tempered person and now it's going out of control with my mom and I feel really bad afterwards and all those negative thoughts ,self-hatred,depression pours in your head and thats not easy I'm mentally week I know that and I don't know what to do if this keeps on happened I will regret if something happens to tham.

I've been listening to this song nonstop and can't wait for the Spanish release if this album, when he sings the chorus of this song in Spanish I can't help but cry, after losing my tía to cancer last week I was blessed when changing the station and listening to this song for the very first time and it just made me smile and cry at the same time. It's so inspirational and beautiful, the music and lyrics just bring up a flurry of emotions that make me happy to be here on earth and surrounded by so many of God's blessings.

Me and my boyfriend of a year now are both heart failure patients. When he was in college, he got really sick and his heart stopped twice. Thank GOD they were able to bring him back. I was born with heart defects and will need continuous corrective surgeries, and my heart nearly stopped 3 years ago. We've both been through some things in our lives, and we both struggle from severe depression, and it's hurting our relationship in how we deal with those dark thoughts. We love each other so much though, and we promised each other forever. Times are dark right now, but we're in the process of getting professional help and picking ourselves back up, both individually and together. We saw him in concert in Rosemont, IL (near Chicago, IL where we are from) and it was a very powerful evening. He has a beautiful voice and every word he sings is filled with the power of the "Spirit" and God's love, peace, hope and encouragement. He is under-rated as a contemporary Christian singer. I am happy he has had success with his music after American Idol. This proves you do NOT have to be the number one "Winner" on Idol to have great success in life. God has given him success. That is all that really matters.

I've been under a major spiritual attack. It's been a little over 3 weeks. I felt like a shell of who I was. Dwelling in the past drowning in my tears. Early this morning as I couldn't sleep I surrender to God. At that moment God's Presence kept washing over me the whole night. I feel the depression leaving. Some night I listen to Praise and Worship music on Pandora. Tonight is the first time I heard this song. Confirmation that God has heard my cries. God is so mercifully wonderful. God Bless everyone

She has been operated from a tumor on her pituitary. We have 4 children, and it has been hard. But we know we will have more chances to praise Jesus together again. He is worthy. She is in America now and I am in Cuba waiting for a miracle to make us reunited again. But one day we will testify together of the Glory of Jesus.

My Momma went to be with the Lord on Feb. 5th, 2016...she died at home, in my arms...the most difficult thing I've ever faced. I didn't hear this song until I made the trip to leave the east coast where I lived the last ten years of my life taking care of my precious Momma. I heard it in April right before I left...while it makes me cry it now gives me strength. I feel like my Holy Saviour, Jesus Christ, and my precious Momma both speak to me through this song. Back in November, my parents got a divorce. And honestly I didn't think I'd make it out of the pain of all that. And past struggles came back to me and honestly, I still don't know yet. This song is so special to me. God spoke audibly twice to me through it. I wish I could speak to Danny and explain to him, how God used this song to heal me. The line where he says let every heartbreak and ever scar be a picture that reminds you who has carried you this far. I used to look at my past and ask why God, why did all this bad happen to me. Where where you on all this. Then God spoke those words to me. And it changed the way I looked at my past. Instead of looking at where was God? Me and my boyfriend of a year now are both heart failure patients. When he was in college, he got really sick and his heart stopped twice. Thank GOD they were able to bring him back. I was born with heart defects and will need continuous corrective surgeries, and my heart nearly stopped 3 years ago. We've both been through some things in our lives, and we both struggle from severe depression, and it's hurting our relationship in how we deal with those dark thoughts. We saw him in concert in Rosemont, IL (near Chicago, IL where we are from) and it was a very powerful evening. He has a beautiful voice and every word he sings is filled with the power of the "Spirit" and God's love, peace, hope and encouragement. He is under-rated as a contemporary Christian singer. I am happy he has had success with his music after American Idol. This proves you do NOT have to be the number one "Winner" on Idol to have great success in life. God has given him success. That is all that really matters.
