- Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

We do receive quite a few questions regarding tools and equipment that we use for various jobs. Unfortunately there is too many to list but some of the brands we use include Snap-on, Blue-point, Makita, Sealey, Clark, Esab and Sykes-Pickavant.

One thing I would say before riding it Rob is go over EVERY nut and bolt because ya don't know what they've had "half" a go at removing when stripping it down !!!
The red bit of plastic in the seat is a kick stand tray - place it under the kick stand when ur on soft ground and it stops it from sinking in and the bike falling over

I have a few of those. Nothing like being in a field at a festival and your bike side stand sinks in the mud 😁🙄😭
He's right Rob, it goes under the kickstand when you park the bike on a soft surface so the bike won't topple on to it's side. 👍

Most people that have never ridden a bike don't understand the passion.
Or someone in their friend circle or family died on a bike, so they loathe them. But how many people die in cars each year, do they not enter cars because of it?
Your enthusiasm is infectious Rob. I'm retired and most of the summer months are spent going to car shows, i never tire of it. Sadly not this year. People do struggle to understand what i see in it all. I own a quick car and always have. I have that exact same enthusiasm when i'm getting the car out for the summer. Keep doing what your doing, it makes great viewing

I have to admit - when I see modern bikes underneath all the panels, they fill me with DREAD! ... My days of Biking were the Old BSA, Triumph, AJS's etc, etc. ..... So easy to get to EVERYTHING (and you needed to - every journey ;) ..... My son rides the modern stuff, does the basic mechanicals himself but gets his club-mates to do the 'real' stuff :-) ..... Looking forward to this series :-)

Awesome to see you doing a bike mate. I’m a Suzuki man myself. Sold these when they come out new, probably one of the best looking GSXR’s they have made. I’ve had 3 Gsxr1000’s.
It’s for side stand on soft ground I have a yellow one on my R6 and a red one on my R1 👌 what a buy 👏 keep it all up Rob the channel is ace

Great update rob, great bike, I now wish that I had kept my Z1000, you've had a lucky find there, well done, as some of the other guys have said, that little plastic thing that you found goes under the side stand when you park the bike on soft or unstable ground 👍

Loved the video, nothing beats the excitement of a new bike! You look like a kid on Xmas morning!. I had an R6 a couple a couple of years ago, brilliant bike and 600s have the best combination of power and handling. I think the engineering on Japanese sportsbikes is outstanding, you cant stop looking at them
