Got a question regarding applying for a Red * * * DEBIT * * * card. Why do they ask for both my date of birth AND social security number if no credit will ever be granted? I only want the Red Card for the discount feature alone.
Hey thank you!! What about returns with your target DEBIT redcard? If I ask to have my money returned to my target debit redcard, where will I see the returned payment? Will it be on my bank statement or on a redcard balance?
I was upgraded to a Target MasterCard but I never received it and customer service English is so broken from wherever they're from couldn't understand me and I'd sure as hell couldn't understand them so I never got the information on where's my Target Mastercard. Now let's talk about that secret
Did they do a hard pull on your credit for the upgrade ??? And if yes which credit Bureau did they pull from ??? Experian, trans union , or equifax????
@@jeffbean6300 No they didn't do a hard credit pull, but I did find out later that they sent me a letter confirming my address and it went to the wrong address. So then I found out that corporate send those upgrades out randomly to people that had a steady purchase history hope with the target store card and they would not honor miscommunication issues if one occurred during the address confirmation.
On forgot, here's a tip hack, you can hit this every 90days... Simple wait after 95days to be safe and close the red card account, then wait 10days and apply again if they offer another coupon

Can you return items and not have problems if there’s consistent returns every so often?
I have the card and it helps me save 5% which is awesome because I’m still going to get the items

Great tips, but only useful if Target has what you want. Target selection/variety is nothing compared to Walmart and Amazon. 😞

And to add insult to injury you cannot apply for a Target MasterCard 🙄.
Wait for a sign up bonus when you sign up with the credit card. Sometimes they give you $40 just for signing up.
