The law favors the home owners not contractors,I'm getting out of construction becuse there are customers who know they can get free work
I did 28 k in work I always put all money on materials and labor have before and after pics I give estimates which I tell em that's not exact but the customer added alot of other work and I found structured damage I agreed to settle for 18,950 instead of 28,650
He is good . Taking pictures will save your but before & after . I worked on a job to clean out a retention pond . The pastor wouldn't pay the bill . My boss put a lean on the property the judge agreed and he got it . Then 2 weeks later he paid the bill. I know that big GC will try to stick it to their subs I've seen it always be on the look out .
