Awesome stuff. I think this has been legal in Canada since 2018. Not sure what took USA so long. It’s amazing stuff. Polestar 2 does it pretty awesome. And the new polestar 3 will be even better. I can’t wait for mine.
Wish I knew that on the aftermarket scene, I'll obviously keep in talk with some of the big lighting companies to see for sure. Going to be pretty awesome.
Most of them already have the hardware already installed (assuming you have Xenon bulbs/ballasts) All you have to do is get a k+d can cable and an android device to enable the feature with the "bimmer code" app.
That ADB demo looks distracting AF. And judging by the early reviews from European drivers, it actually is distracting AF. The demo even shows the biker getting blinded before the lights finally change, too late. This is a solution in search of a problem.
😂😂 NHTSA will never allow adaptive headlights in the United States. We will never see them. They were approved 3 1/2 years ago pending investigation. lol. NHTSA isn’t even answering questions about them anymore.
I thought I just saw some vehicles now being released with the adaptive headlghts (apparently tesla is saying they are relasign it, so is lucid), but I thought the new toyota GX's had them as an option.
@@talkingmods the lights that are being released in the United States can only turn right left and automatically switch between high and low beam. These features have been available in the United States for 25 years. Censored high and low have been available since the 50s. These are not truly adaptive headlights.
Wow…I’d love to get my hands on a retrofit kit when it finally releases. Sounds awesome!
You and me both! Exciting stuff!
*Nice little Ingolstadt (ING) film clip. Those are Audis of course, because it's an Audi promo and that's where they're built. Cheers!*
PDLS plus has been sold here for years and is still not activated for US market. I’ll be surprised to see it even by end of 2023 for US market 🙁
Right. Love to get a software flash on the lights
Approved years ago. Still not one on the road in the USA. Don’t hold you’re breath on the NHTSA testing. maybe 2030.

Exellent video. Cant wait to see it in action and own a car with it.
Thank you, for sure

Apparently it's really cool.
