I understand the importance of muscle and enjoyed lifting off and on over the past 30 years. I’m 15 months past RNY and have 30’ish pounds I’d like to lose before I find that happy weight, which is ideally in the 140s. I am talking with my functional DR about microdosing semaglutide. My original goal was to wait to build muscle until I’ve gotten to my goal weight. Do you recommend I hold off or begin lifting now? I’m afraid to build muscle and start gaining weight again.
