I think Gwenpool has a good chance in old fashioned Sera Control. Sometimes Shang-chi and friends need that little bit more power to flip a lane. Plus it has great synergy with Mysterio.

Maybe some hopium, but I think Gwenpool could work in a traditional discard list. I can picture her hitting Swarm, Apoc, Proxima, or even Daken for some crazy value.
Mhhh i like the swarms and since your hand in discard is tiny, its good value. Daken is cope tho, if you dont play him on 3 its just too late, you cant hold him.

He is a solid card in a confident players hands, he isn't a bad card just not broken as hell like people are trained to focus on.
Wong and GM are different cards that do two different things.

What everyone is missing with Copycat is Korg and Rockslide.
You draw Copycat T1 - she steals text from bottom card.
Then you play Korg and he shuffles their deck on top of adding a Rock. Adding yet another dead draw.
Same with Rockslide.

Woah, I figured shuffle just meant insert the rock at a random position. Has someone been able to prove that it works this way?
Guess you could do it in a friendly with one player having an active howard the duck when korg/rockslide is played by the other player.
@@Daegonama Rocks are shuffled. I've drawn old Chavez before turn 6 because of Korg/Rockslide.

I know the fellas weren't high on Phastos but I'm surprised I didn't hear a mention of him in the Gwenpool discussion, unless I missed it. They go pretty well together, I think. Further power buffs or a cost decrease that lets you get more of that power out onto the field.

"A lot of these not from direct Deadpool?" The only character this season that has nothing to do with Deadpool is Gwenpool. Hydra Bob, Ajax and Copycat are all Deadpool characters from the comics and Cassandra Nova is in the new Deadpool movie.
Actually they have crossed over multiple times she's even brought him into the space outside of the comic panels Although she has admitted that she's never read any of his comic books.
Yeah, Ajax is the villain of the first movie and Hydra Bob was in X-Men Origins Wolverine

I think Deadpool will work great with Gwen, drop DP turn 1, Hulkbuster on 2, Venom or killmonmger on 3, gwen on 4, then 5 is dp and another kill card, turn 6 dp and tasdkmaster or death

The fact that you guys (mostly Cozy) give .5 star ratings is hilarious to me. I mean, at that point why not just cut out the .5s and make it an X/10 star rating system? 😂😂😂
There's 3 things that can happen when you draw Copycat:
1- She shows your opponent what she copied. (Terrible)
2- She doesn't show anything to opponent. (Unfair)
3- A small sound or visual effect that tells your opponent you drew Copycat, but not show the copied card at all. (Best option imo)
She shows to your opponent what she stole

Gwenpool will be stupid good and will most likely be an excellent addition to Arishem decks.
Hear me out, copycat in darkhawk decks?, steal their bottom card text and shuffle some rocks, not only they have the chance to draw a powerful rock but now a card from their deck without ability/text

Spotlight Caches, ive had to pull using 4 keys twice, over this past month, trying to get at the featured card. I find that too coincidental, in fear that the rates are rigged against the featured card

I’m actually excited for Ajax, hazmat, scorpion, Typhoid Mary, hi Evo, A bomb and Taskmaster…. Maybe even a Cosmo to protect Ajax from all the Rouges moving around

2 stars for sure. If the value went directly to the board, she could be a 3star but, the fact that her value doesn’t actually get applied until you play the cards she buffed holds her back.
Only problem with Ajax, then Wong/Hazmat, is that he only gets the bump per card, not per affliction. So, that second round of Hazmat isn't benefitting you any extra. And if any cards were already afflicted, he wouldn't get an extra benefit.
Overall though, I think Ajax is a card you get on release to use two months later.
I really like the idea of a general buff deck but I keep feeling like if we're playing shaw brood absman why are we even bothering with any gwenpool bp stuff and not just playing pure surfer

this could actually make the card worthless, imagine giving your oponente completely free information (the info in question being a card that they will not draw this game, in most cases), it would be worse than baron mordo at that point

A synergy that i think u guys missed with copycat is korg/rockslide after u play copycat to shuffle their deck and maybe make them draw the dead card
i think copycat is a combo deck counter. put her in darkhawk and when she steals a combo piece’s text it basically becomes a rock (or at least mostly useless). then shuffle more rocks intot their deck so they have more dead draws and dhawk them into oblivion.
idk if hyrda bob is gonna work like cozy and alex thinks it will. Maybe im dumb but it looks like if a player snapped it will move after every turn for the rest of the game. Not just the turn a player snaps
If gwenpool was a 3 cost card it would fit so well with silver surfer and sebastian shaw. I think it will still fit well but not as well.
39:48 look I do my affliction shenanigans and then skip five and drop Abomination and She-Hulk. I have a deck I've taken to infinite the past three seasons. Cassandra is coming. That and Ajax. I now skip and drop Ajax, Abomination, and Free-Hulk(with Hope on 3). This card is going to be great. Like Darkhawk it needed to be a five and ongoing. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
I think for Ajax, it would be cool to do debris on 3, Hazmat and Scorpion on 4, Ajax on 5, then venom ajex on 6 to keep the power and play luke cage after to remove your own negative power.

Its all gonna be Surfer, Shaw, Brood, Daken with Gwenpool. It's too obvious. Ladder is gonna be hell.
Well, we can build a Gwenpool deck that has all those cards you said so Gwenpool, Black Panther, Nakia, Okoye... I would add Magik and Grand Master there. You could Grand master the Gwenpool on turn 5 along with Magik so you get an extra draw. Also, you can have Wong, Odin and Arnim Zola so if all goes wrong you still have a strong On Reveal combo with you plus an extra turn to play it all. I guess the standard combo is Gwenpool, then Magik + GM into Gwenpool turn 5. Turn 6 Black Panther then Arnim Zola on turn 7. An alternative combo is Magik on 3, then Wong, Gwenpool off Wong, Black Panther then Zola. Another one is playing Gwenpool into Wong, then GM and then you play Shaw or Black Panther... Lots of lines there.
In regard to the Copycat “the opponent won’t draw the card” if you play Korg/rockslide after you draw it then your opponent deck gets shuffled and they very much can draw it
If the leaks are to be believed, your opponent can see you what your Copycat steals.

Is it just me, or does anyone else remember Abom’s evolved ability taking effect even when opponent has Cage out? If you tap cards on the board, it still shows the “-1” effect; Cage only affects the Power displayed. I think Ajax’s ability will act the same way, so Cage wouldn’t be a counter to him, and Ajax will still gain power from all played cards afflicted at any point in game.

Gwenpool seems like a nice card to play in a Swarm + Proxima Discard deck

Cassandra is unbelievably cracked, possibly the most powerful card in the game imo. It's hard to believe that it won't be nerfed.
Copy Cat HAVE to give away it acted, somehow. Imagine you draw all your deck and the last card is disabled, and the opponent never plays her. It would be confusing for some players to understand what happened 😅
ajax is great for a hazmat junk deck - wong hazmat absorbing man would be a great combo

My problem is that no matter what card they put out from now on, there's no reason to not play Arishem. You aren't going to see people just going into creating a deck that specializes on the new card. It'll be adding that card to Arishem.

I think Black Panther would be a great candidate for an activate rework. The big draw back for him is that he goes up to 8, 10, etc power and just sits there to be destroyed or reset

With ajax you got red guardian as well, maybe alioth sees a lot of play in these decks too

I think cards that get overlooked for benefiting from a few extra power points are tech cards. Turning a 4/3 Shang into a 4/5 or even higher can turn the tides of a lane in a significant way. Destroying a 10 cost alone isn't always enough to turn a lane. But if your Shang is also a bit beefier. Bam. I think Arishem benefits as well. Cause now the cards you created that might have been duds before at least might be worthwhile stat sticks instead of just dead cards as well as Arishem being able to get Gwenpool out on turn 3. Gwenpool might not be a super exciting card, but the versatility is intriguing. The only real hesitation I have on saying she's crazy is the fact she's a 4 cost. Decks that can cheat her out sooner might be her best homes.

There’s no doubt that we will get a little influx of players around the Deadpool 3 release as well. Hopefully they pour some of the profits back into the game and we continue to get more content
Mill is underrated. Easiest climb to infinite I have ever had was this season with Mill
