OMG I was shocked and overwhelmed. What was THAT? I knew neither the original singer Labrinth nor this song. I listened straight away. Was interesting but not my taste. Then I listened to Angelina's version again, I don't know how many times, her version blows my mind, WOW. This girl kills me, Angelina's courage, this self-confidence with this song to open her concert. Angelina shows right at the beginning of the concert what the audience can expect spectacular. 👣💯 *AJ* 💯👣
Just a guess, but she may use this song as kind of a warm up. Similar to when she does her little parking garage warm ups on tik tok at the studio where she jumps all over with tones, ranges, etc. Sounds great!
I think this one came closest in forecasting somewhat how her EP does sound like. Maybe it was a test balloon to see how her fans would deal with a more progressive sound?
Hi, Alex, I had never heard of Labrinth before Angelina sang the song. I had to go check out the original and do some research. Watching your face, I see you noticing the changes she made. Listening to the original showed me the musicality she brought to her rendition. It is short song. The original is short, too! Everyone was surprised. Grandma Ellen, out.
There is no longer version. Angelina likes short songs it seems. Her EP has songs averaging about 3 minutes. The original has a great dark atmosphere. Angelina throws in bunches of soul and blues and cranks it up a number of notches. She started her concerts with it and it surprised most people as they did not know the original. It shows that Angelina is calling the shots and that is great! :-)
4 years+ I have watched reactors change (Life altering change) Channels become dedicated to her & her followers? Nothing else like them, just like her, this has never happened & "IT" hasn't even happened yet! "Next level Event" & "She is" are just a few I have used but If I'm being honest "World changer" is the only thing that describers her and this one is just in time! Hi Alex! Yes, this video was taken by longtime Angelina supporter Chris Walker, a.k.a BigAngieFan here on TH-cam. He actually recorded the whole concert and has the best overall quality in video and audio. There are other people who posted their own recordings at one of her concerts, but the angles and sound and video quality vary. The video you are watching is the best quality and the one people use to do their reaction videos. As a matter of fact, this was the only time she has done this song. She opened each of her concerts last summer in Norway with this song. Hopefully she will sing it again in the near future!
Hi Alex, watched her live at the concert later on the 10th July. She opened with this and it was quite a shock. She had done a 20 minute sound check before the concert that we got to watch, and she did several songs, often the same one in different versions, but not this one. Don't think anyone had heard of it before AJ sang it.
Angelina just dropped last week an EP with original songs. You ‘ll be more amazed, if you can react to all of them. They are fire!!🔥🔥🔥🔥 Angelina is a genius!!🤩🤩🤩

If you think that Jens (the bass player ) was impressed, you should have seen the Svein Eriks' face (the guitarist) he was in a state of ecstasy, of course, with him it happened that way with each song... The real show stopper (in my view) was her revised rendition of Million Miles. I hope that it is on the list...
