I was on a double date with my best friend with two guys we didnt know too well. We went to the bathroom to talk about them lol (like we do) a lady came into the bathroom was very nervous and told my friend that the guy she was talking too was her ex and was abusive & violent to her. We both thanked her.. Joined our dates again at the end of the dinner we left together, leaving the guys at the restaurant. The next day my best friend went to the police station gave his name and was told by the police that he had been imprisoned twice due to domestic violence.. In the UK it's called Clares Law.. I thank God every day that that brave lady approached us and told us her truth.. The guy in question was incredibly sweet, polite and very funny. Tall, dark and handsome. But it was all a facade.. We all need to watch out for each other x

What an angel! "Tall dark and handsome" with emphasis on the dark 😩 Clare's law sounds like a good idea but I'd hate to think of what happened to Clare to have a law passed in her name. If you were in Australia and wanted to leave discreetly, you can ask bar staff " have you seen Angela" or "I'm looking for Angela" and they will ring you a taxi and escort you out safely.

I think it’s depends how you come forward . You can sound crazy or you can word things straight forward while being honest. For example he could have been arrested. You can simply say this individual has arrest warrants please be aware and do research .
Besides this there are men that are Pedophiles here in my state not sure if everywhere you can search up an individual using Megan’s law online. Every situation is different and it’s not exaggerating it’s being honest with yourself and to others . Remember this women go crazy or supposedly called crazy because a man did something to make her go crazy but men kill. They kill over women or money. So tell me who is more crazier. When do you ever here that it’s more often that women kill , or that women go cat calling on men, or that women captured many boys and raped them. If someone is warning you it’s because somethings wrong. If he was a good guy from the start people around him will come straight forward and tell you themselves. But even someone good down the road can do or say something horrible and you would never know.

Fast forward to a year later I find out she had gotten pregnant and he left her high and dry just like he did my friend. I think someone who is level headed will listen or at least be cautious but most women that are drawn to men who are bad in the ways you mentioned are desperate or blinded by manipulation 🤷♀️

I chose not to warn his other woman, because she knew about me and I felt they both disrespected me. Understandably they don't owe me anything and I don't any of them anything. Keep in mind that just because someone treated you a certain type of way doesn’t necessarily mean they will treat the next one the same! Different levels and standards
But what kind of respectable person does that? If you’re respectful, you treat everyone you date with the same level of respect. If not, there’s something shady about them.
That’s so true, but it speaks to their *_character_* and the idea that certain people should be mistreated because they don’t respect them, whereas another will get better treatment because they’re held in higher esteem. I wanted to warn my ex’s new person for so long! He was so emotionally abusive and disrespectful but I kept it to myself though in hopes that he treats her better and actually learned something from our relationship. I let God take care of the rest.
Of course because if one of them happened to be my best friend and she ended up catching feelings for my ex-boyfriend, I would tell her "I understand that you like my ex but all I'm saying is watch your back and pay attention because he's a player who is up to no good."

My mother always told me to date outside my race. In her words, quote "Black men mistreat their women too much". She, as a mother, is trying to protect me from the same things she went through and unfortunately, hers and other women around her experience's with black men wasn't the greatest. I have dated a mixed caucasian/black guy, an asian Vietnamese guy, a caucasian guy, a black guy. I don't have anything against men of any ethnicity. We're all a part of the human race and I will date for love and not for the colour of one's skin.

Just because a person was bad or negative for you, that doesn't mean they will be for somebody else. However, if the person has a history of violence or something serious than you may want to give a heads up especially if it is someone you know that will be dating that person. Keep in mind, that people behave differently depending on the people they're with. For example, a guy may cheat on one woman or a few women but not another.
the fact that some men would pick and choose who to have good character with is a red flag in itself.

I honestly, don't see a problem with having certain preferences when it comes to love. A lot of people are attracted to one type of people. Let's take race out of this for a second.Some women prefer skinny men, some like them with a little tummy (like Addianne mention once), some like them fit, some like them extra muscular. Now let's take men as an example, some like women that are curvy, some like them skinny, some like them in the middle. You see what I am saying? It is all narrows down to what you are atrracted to. It is preference! Now, with race is the same thing. Some people like dating latinos, but they themselves are not latinos. I know a lot of white people that are just not attracted to latinos, and me being a latina don't take offense to that, because you like what you like. There is also people (like myself) that are attracted to pretty much any kind of men (if you are a man, women), but I tend to be attracted more often to darker sknned guys, and that is okay too, because again it is all about preference, and not about being narrow mindided like Jeannie said.

Yesterday, I just warned an elderly woman who was recently hired at the business next to my job about my narcissistic ex boyfriend. Even the landlord warned her before I did because he’s that bad. Usually I don’t warn people, but I had a gut feeling I needed to because the new woman is very kind and my ex might try to use that to his advantage. He has history of abuse, stealing from registers, causing scenes and making the business look bad, as well as a huge criminal record. The previous woman who worked there kept enabling his behavior, so it was important for us to warn her so he has no reason to hang around the business.

Have done it in the past and I did it with my last ex (woman beater) girl didn't take heed and got pregnant with his baby he ended up breaking her ribs and her clavicle (while she was pregnant) she went in to have the baby and he punched her in the delivery room (she told me this about 5 months ago) she had her baby and left him THANKFULLY she is doing amazing as a single mom (after she left he abandoned her son) I am a constant support system for her and she is constantly asking me for advice and we have actually became best friends

People have types, and that's ok. Being open to people outside your type is important, but everyone has their type. It really all comes down to where it is rooted, and that's hard to parse out.
I've been in a situation before where my now current ex in which I was dating at the time while staying with him, he called himself trying to really hurt me and also I guess proving a point to the other girl, by bringing the other girl in his home right in front of me while I was sitting there as a way to get me to leave I guess. But anyways me and him got into it right in front of her and one of things I said, which I said right in front of both of them, that "you're just going to do the same thing to her cause that's just how you are", (which also come to find out he had been running his mouth about me to her telling her all of my business and making up rumors about me) and so she was just sitting there shaking her head laughing at me and went on like "oh I don't care, I don't care about her (referring to me) I don't even know her, I'm here for you and I came to kick it with you" and all that or whatever, and since she was already sitting on his bed I replied back going like ok well enjoy sitting on the same bed that he was just recently fucking me in. Of course from there we got into it and I almost fought her and we got into an argument which I regret but I learned from that and we're all older now so yea. But, long story short, I just wish em well and hope and pray that they don't suffer the way that I did and if they do then...🤷🏾May the Lord be with them

I personally know Ricky's son Craig, we met in highschool and have recently talked. I'm sure they have had a conversation or multiple about girl in private. Young teens are easily manipulated and/or pressured into saying things. He's young, young people say stupid things not knowing the consequences sometimes..

I sort of understand him because he’s 15 and every minority who’s ever been in a white school went through that phase. I’ve seen this with my people. You’re trying to survive to fit in to even reject your own people. A lot of kids I knew would hate the fact they’re even Asian and it’s sad. People who say racism doesn’t exist doesn’t know what it’s like to wish to not be the race you were. People who say white people are attacked the most probably didn’t grow up wishing to have plastic surgery to look more white or avoid eating your food in case kids teased you or if I had to be real I don’t know many white people who would willingly trade places and take on the racism black/ brown people receive. They just want the cool parts like dreadlocks or have dark skin, but they don’t want the racism or the struggles that come with it. I hope he grows out of it as many do but I know for sure there are people who carry that with them and it affects how they treat their own race. I just hope he’s not one of them.

My ex is a whole narcissist , I can see if the relationship just didn't work out or they cheated okay move on. But if this is a horrible person with bad patterns who have done this to several of his ex's and women. Getting them pregnant than leaving, being abusive emotionally and physically , trying to ruin them. My ex tried to ruin me and all women before me. He has narcissist personality disorder and it really is sad. He even admitted to me one day and he said I'm too good for him and he can't help himself.
